The 1997 Elantra.

I know it may be kinda ugly and boring, FWD, and has 2-digit horsepower, but OHHHHHH IT'S JUST SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111
 
The only thing ugly about that is the brown pinstripe. Otherwise, it's just another ordinary Korean product of the 90s.

Best it's going to get out of me is an uncool. The only thing stopping me from giving it a seriously uncool is the fact that it's probably really reliable.

The engines are all right, but both people i know with them, have trans and electronic issues.

Well, a few of my friends hate these mustangs and I've heard a lot of people call them ugly and what not. I on the other hand don't think quite the same way; I think they look quite nice.

Also, I like the fox for mainly how much of a monster it can be when modified due to how light they are and they corner well for mustangs. The first version of the SN95 on the other hand, I can't put my finger on exactly why I like this mustang.

The fox is one hell of a car. Love them. The original sn95 before the new edge redesign left the V8 alone and converted it into a chick car. IMO that's the worst model mustang.

I love old and new Land rovers with a passion:nervous:..I don't tell many people that as Land rovers are not as loved in Australia as they are in the UK:guilty:

It has the classic pony car features. V8, long hood, short rear deck, 2 door etc. same as before just the body style I slightly different. I've always liked them.

The fox is a body style that has to grow on you, I've been around them my whole life as my dad owns one and he's put a lot of work into it. It's very fun to drive.

Now, here's another ford that I've heard from friends saying it's ugly too.

I find the Ford Focus in general a very good car. I own a 2001 SE Wagon myself and I don't think it's ugly personally, it's also fairly reliable and nice to drive too. The hot Focuses though are awesome, I hope to own a Focus SVT as my next car.

That I can agree with. The Fox didn't really appeal to me for a while as I was big into the '60s cars. Now I would love to own one and it's nice they are cheap, reliable and pretty quick, even stock.

On the topic of Mustangs, as much as people hate it, I really like the II. I didn't like it much until I saw it and a friend got one. After I rode around in it, it's scary quick with a few simple mods. Half throttle was spinning them through 3rd, probably because the car doesn't weigh anything.

About the Focus, I agree with your friends. I think their ugly, at least in the hatch form.
 
The Toyota Celica ST200s. This generation of the celica is called ugly by a couple more of my friends and well; I don't find it ugly and I obviously find it appealing. Not just the ST205 GT-Four (that I'm peeved that Toyota didn't bring it to the states), but the other models too. I've been growing a love for this celica since I was little.

Now, a lot of people also find the ZZT231 celica ugly and I find it appealing in some ways. I don't know why, I just do.

That said, while I don't find Minis ugly, I don't find them as appealing as everybody else does when they fawn all over them.

Oh, I'm sorry. Although, I can't tell what Mini's you're referring to by simple capitalization.
 
The 'new' Mini has always been stylised as MINI. Actually makes it slightly easier to talk about either the newer or older cars. This despite the MINI not being very small at all...

Yup. Well, some of them have weird taste anyway. Although, I think have some friends that agree with me that the ST200 celica is a decent looking car. I seriously want a GT-Four model.

EDIT: here's another example. I think some people find this car ugly. The MkII Ford Taurus. I like the normal one for nostalgia reasons and I think the SHOs though are awesome! It's a shame, some of my friends are very ignorant about cars and don't see the what is great about the SHO.
