And that's a really clean looking tin-top in that photo.

I think it might have sold well actually. It was supposed to be a moden day interpretation of a Power Wagon. Thanks, I looked it up and I could never see that selling...AT ALL! Then again, I wonder how the Nissan Juke ever sold?!
Actually, no...the 2000 Power Wagon concept was the modern day interpretation of a Power Wagon, lol.I think it might have sold well actually. It was supposed to be a moden day interpretation of a Power Wagon.

i agree, it looks outdated and doesn't feel like a Toyota products if you compared it to Vios, Corolla Altis and Innova.Toyota Etios Valco
When I first saw it, I thought the face was kinda ugly. It also looked like it came out from the mid-2000s, not from the current decade. Surely they could have done better. But now, it somehow starts to grow on me.
Pretty weak, though. The 1.2-litre, inline 4-cylinder engine only produces around 79bhp, and it goes from 0-100km/h in around 14.1 seconds. But being relatively lightweight, it should be a snappy little car around corners.
However, it's inexpensive, with the top variant being priced at around somewhere equivalent to US$13,810. It's also only available with a manual transmission.
How could you POSSIBLY think of this beautiful car as ugly...
Only recently did I find out that the Golf Harlequin Edition was an actual thing.
The colors appear random, but they aren't; body panels were specifically arranged so that the base color (the roof, rear quarter panel and grille) would not be repeated anywhere else on the car. There were four permutations of Volkswagen's 'formula':
The Golf wasn't the only Volkswagen to receive the Harlequin treatment, though. In Europe, you could buy a Polo in similar guise:
Volkswagen even offered the Beetle in Harlequin getup in Central and South America:
Despite that German plate; must be an import.
I'd rock a Golf Harlequin.
...sorry I've loved it since I first saw it. lol
Probably one of my favourite cars from a few years ago, I loved them.It may not be that handsome, but it's a quick car at least.
Major props to the owner for making creating the same idea with his wheels. That is seriously cool. 👍Only recently did I find out that the Golf Harlequin Edition was an actual thing.
I'm torn on the design as a whole.YOU ACTUALLY FIND THE NEW MUSTANG UGLY?
Now I'm really shocked.
