You could always try to take the same picture again, but brighter. It's a great looking picture as it is, just a bit dark. On the other hand, you could go for something totally different. It's your call, one way or another.

Well, since you entered that in a competition you can’t enter it here.
My advice is: Have confidence on your skills, and don’t let anyone chose an entry from you, or tell you what images you shouldn’t enter for any competition.

My mistake was that the "it's your call, one way or another" sounded like he had to change his entry for a brighter version or a different one. I meant that he could change his entry or leave it like that. My bad. Besides, he even hinted he may change his entry.

Yeah I only took it with editing in mind guys. It just seemed like one of the best unedited examples of ingame blur I had, I may change it for something else, I'm not sure what though, there are too many choices!!

Anyhow, this is an entry I had took in mind to enter the drift competition. It was a tough call to use this on the drift competition or this competition. Was being the key word, as now the rules of the current drift competition as it stands right now don't allow race cars or tuner cars. So, it kinda made things easier for me.

Interesting color...never seen the RX7 LM in yellow before. Also, I've never seen a shot from that angle. A unique shot, even if it is a bit light.
 
Hey Codename L that image is pretty cool,and Tangled Web if that was an older car it would fit more ith the black and white and GrumpEone the tires look weird but that might because of the white strips on them.

Withdrawn old entry and replaced new entry due to it was focus blur not motion blur on advice. Although this shot I do feel is slightly weaker than my last shot.

If I am still on the wrong course please let me know.

Mykolas = You have not linked your picture entry to a full version of your picture. I suggest you link it up from your preview to your full view version before the poll comes up.

Yours is closer to a motion blur.

I really don't care if they are allowed or not, I'm just making sure that you know that you might need a replacement entry.

Your previous entry fit the theme better. I'd go back to that one honestly, no motion blur in the new one.

I hate to say it to this beatuiful shot, but there is no motion blur. This shot is more of a focal blur. Man its so gorgeous though.


Motion blur is defined as the apparent streaking of rapidly moving objects in a still image. Either the background motion blurred or the subject motion blurred(like speedemons) can both be valid forms of entries.
 
Thanks Swiss Legend, yes I do get confused between motion and focus blur as both sectors are my weakest in terms of un-edited quality. In response I have withdrawn the entry and replaced it with a new one. At least I can use my old entry for another time.

Hopefully the new entry located in the original post will do the trick.

I work on the principle that an illegal entry doesn't count, so you can definitely change back and possibly even change that to another acceptable entry.

yup, The way I see it, if you made the switch to an 'illegal' entry, you can change back to the original with no DQ necessary.

Very nice entry 👍 Looks pretty realistic, nice motion blur too. I was planning to use that car for an entry, but I went for the McLaren. Nice to see you pulled off something I wanted to but just couldn't :cheers:
