A stock Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3
I managed to get 401 km/h while slipstreaming behind a tuned viper on the Mulsanne straight... Only thing added were tires, no further tuning. Also very good in the corners and a pretty short braking distance.

my unexpected speed-demon is the Miura... i got the DLC and keep doing the accell tesdts. it has 563pp (not worn in properly yet) but it'll run a mile quicker than a fully tuned V12 Vantage (DLC one)

I love driving FWD cars around Eiger and I was not expecting the two to be so agile as they were due to their weight.

+1

The Volvo in the premium
dealership tuned up becomes a monster around here and surprised me no end

I have an Eagle Talon built for 400PP seasonals(Comfort Soft tires) and it's a great car, it surprised me the very first time I used it.

Not fast in a straight line but for the twisty stuff a well-tuned Mazda Autozam AZ-1 is pretty much untouchable in my book.

'95 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT: it's ugly, but for an FF, it handles great.

'98 Toyota Sprinter Trueno: A great little car, quick in a straight line and surprisingly good through the twisties

'02 Pontiac Solstice Coupe: The production version looks better, but sadly it isn't in GT5 so we're stuck with the concept. That being said, once it's tuned, it's fast and turns on a dime (think of it as an American Miata) I've beaten several Miatas, Elises, and S2000s online with it.

Chrysler PT Cruiser: I hate PT Cruisers, but tuned to 400PP and the car is great, as much as it pains me to say it.

Fiat Barchetta: Again at 400 PP it's a great car, despite being ugly and FF.

The Lotus Espirit is hella fast. My V8 GT with around 680 HP and just over 1100 kg has a top speed of 390 kph.

Ah the Esprit, I took the Esprit Sport 350 around the Ring a few weeks back and it was my very first time driving it, and I was quite impressed, I didn't expect it to handle as well and go as fast as it did. Great car.

I still think the Ginetta maxed out and tuned is the most surprising I have come across. It doesn't look like much with it's 217BHP and it all of a sudden has around 600PP for some reason. Then you notice it's measly 415kg curb weight. It has some serious go. Fun to drive also, especially for some random car in the UCD.

The Audi Nuvolari Quattro '03 (even if it had about 300 some hp, probably more when you first buy it), for me, was quite an unexpecedly fast car, at least from 0-60, I mean, my god, it got from 0-60 in 2.188 seconds, 3rd only to the 2012 GT-R and the Veyron respectively (and no, I haven't tested any x1's or racing cars, not for now I won't). And for a car that, when I tested it had 667 hp and weighed 1261 kg, thats amazing, it was barely beat by two cars that had at least 300 to 500 hp more than it, and weighed about the same. I got it to about 224 mph, not bad, for 667 hp, that's not bad at all really. As for handling...............I have no idea, lol, I haven't driven it around a track other than Route X yet. Probably should though. :sly:

The newer Audi RS6 surprised me, you can reduce the weight by a third and tune it to 915bhp. Sounds amazing too with racing exhausts and the stage 3 turbo kit. With the standard transmission it shifts into 6th gear at 210mph. And mine is painted orange with black Enkei rims 👍

The new DLC Mini Countryman.

It absolutely flies round corners. It's almost silly.

It's probably been said before, but the Scirocco is brutally quick when tuned. In a 500pp online race round the Nordschleife the only guy who kept up with me (and beat me, damn it!) was in an NSX, and there was the usual assortment of LFA's, M3 CSL's etc.

This one is a beast. 👍
It has a god-like handling and when tuned properly, challenges a fully tuned GT-R 2012 on a race track.

Interesting, definitely stroked my interest now, think it could match a ZZII?

Mercedes Benz SL600 (R230) '04
1025BHP
Mines hits 273MPH WITHOUT slipstream.
Don't believe me? Add me and I'll show you on online. :)

suzuki 4200r, caddy cien, mazda kusabi and go karts. All are fun and fast, i didnt expect that though.

Suzuki? Isuzu mate.

My choice, the Mazda Atenza 25Z. Can hit around 187mph without a slipstream, over 200mph with one. For a front wheel drive car the handling's pretty damn good too... and it looks so good for such a big car. My basic specs are in my gallery (link in sig) under the FF Collection.

3 cars..

RE Amemiya rx7 FD (blue one) .. the amount fun i have with this online with pp limited to 550 with sports soft tyres.. nothing comes close to this, not even racing cars.. its so well balanced you can corner at filthy speeds

and the subaru impreza wrx sti saloon ... i got 1:23 range with this, with sports soft tyres and an oil change.. the thing weighs almost 1500kg and has 320 or so hp... there are not many cars with a 1500kg weight and only 320 hp that can go around there THAT quick..

those diesel le mans racing cars (pugoet and audi) the amount of torque.. i've won races using top gear only ...love it

Haha, 'filthy speeds' is a very polite way to say that. The RX7 TC is also blisteringly quick. It's only got about 635pp but any 650pp race is like a walk in the park.

the CRX Sir. Fully tuned to 315hp and weighing only 877 Kg's, the car is a beast in any 500 PP race. With RS tires I came in 5th place on the Grand Valley 650pp seasonal. For a car with less then 500PP, that is amazing. Fully tuned and with the right suspension tune, this thing corners on rails with very little understeer

Not to mention the little thing can comfortably go past 170mph with no weight reduction ~300Bhp and a lengthened final gear. :)

400pp- Mazda Kusabi Concept

Ridiculously easy to drive. Not that fast on the straight but excellent through corners. 👍
