It's not my intention to act clever just to provide him the tools needed (if he doesn't know already) to finish it.
As you could see in startpost he already has most of it done already so not much to share

Sorry, ran into some problems... ANYWAYS

I can't compile the 2.40 icons with sound effects, the method I'm using right now only allows me to have new icons without any sounds (So for now I have to wait for someone to update the theme builder or come up with something else so I can compile both new icons AND sounds)

For now I guess I'll compile everything without sounds and just wait but it will be weird

I'm working on a new background right now and it won't be about cars or anything but something abstract and streamlined so you can use whatever background you like and it will be linked to the site with the previous ones I did and the ones which are in the 1.2 version.

I won't post any dates since I'm still working on it I got like two icons left to do I didn't notice (the playing one which i don't know where it's used )

I'll update the thread title with "RELEASED" as soon as it has the files in it so you guys know!

y0 Mad Props to Alba for everything he has done, just DL the theme and its pure goodness 100% the user account logo is perfect, the little Aussie flag inside owns, and the wallpaper is all quality.

Just wanted to say cheers for them and keep up the great work.

Hi guys, I'm currently working on finishing and compiling everything since nothing new came up (in the ps3 compiler department)

And this time around, I wanna go for the simpliest clean look, regular PS3 wave in blue/red for both themes, no sound (since I can't put it in anyways) and updated icons and so on.

I'm gonna make a screen for each version in a moment I'm just finishing the last bits and I'm gonna keep the website with all my previous flags/keys user things and backgrounds so you can get whenever you like as background (only downside = no automatic rotation but well, I want to go for a cleaner and easier look this time around).

Still not but I guess it'll never get updated by sony anyways... this is what i'm talking about:

EDIT: Just checked and there's a new compiler which allows new icons AND sounds so I'm working on that right about now, woot!

I vote for it with the shield around it. Great looking icons BTW, this is a great theme, keep up the good work. 👍

Yeah, I think it's closer to the ones used in the game, just looked weird at first to me (btw I really need to calibrate my hdtv, seems a bit off in contrasts with the icons and what I got in photoshop, anyways )

I'm working a bit on users icons right now to integrate them a bit better and I got this:

I think it's pretty cool, just need to replace the flags now and add the new ones people have asked for!

I saw a new compiler allowing you to add sound to your theme, maybe you it's usefull for ya?

I used latest version Theme Builder 2.3a, extracted your 1.2 version ( to bad i needed to reselect all the images bug in version 2.3a i think )
Replaced new icons, saved the whole bunch and sound is still present.

I edited my original post, i got it all working and compiled already, i'm just testing it out to make sure i didn't forget a thing but everything works, don't worry

I need someone to help me out test the ones with sounds since I edited them a bit (there was some errors at the end and some weird noise )

EDIT: Alright, I got this damn one bug with the sound thing I can't really fix and other than that, everything's done... just need to polish the preview picture for each set (even if it doesn't really do anything, I want it to be perfect!)

I'm preparing the archive to be uploaded hopefully tomorrow along with the "new" mini-website with backgrounds and download links

Where did you have that error?
I compiled it, like i said before, no error's in sound and/or picture, everything works fine.

no, it's not compiling it's the sound file itself, there's a little weird noise at the end of the push one.

You should be able to edit it out by using audacity.

i'm using awave studio since it's the only one (i'm aware of) when you can export to .vag (playstation audio files thingy)

Well you should be able to edit the original file in audacity and then export to .vag using awave.

yeah i did that before with another program, problem is awave changes the original audio file I'm using so i have to redo it inside awave then export it

sucks really

I don't remember the name but I think its called MFaudio. From what I read the files must be 16 bit.

My PS3 background waits patiently. It's not going anywhere. Take your time, Alba. I'd rather have a nice well polished theme, than something rushed to market.

(and I have the new website for the theme coming soon aswell for new wallpapers and so on, hopefully it won't take too much time to have it live)
