See I would do this if I could found out where the text falls (like in pixels) because you can't just guess on the tv and draw them in on the PC.

Also when the foggy bits are not all occupied with text you would have nothing in them and it would look kinda tacky, plus some would be or too short or long.

Oh well il wait and hope..

To be honest, I'd rather have the ability to change the PSN icon first and then colors and new fonts and what not

I do agree with you there, it does seriouly need sorting but I don't think they will ever allow you to change it because its a trademarked icon unlike the rest of the XMB and it shows off the branding with its design and colour scheme... I still think its a seriously ulgy icon, I prefer the old simple one.

Alba, I really appreciate your hard work. Would you mind posting some wallpapers that have a natural contrasting background, like the Ford GT does? As gorgeous as the currently available images are, they don't like the XMB

Absolutely LOVE this theme!

I only have one problem.
Compared to sounds from anything other than the theme, the theme sounds are loud.

For example, If I'm playing a game with the volume at a comfortable level, and I quit the game, any sound that comes from the XMB is loud.

Love the theme, Sounds are too loud.

Same here and it was not a problem when I had v1.2.

well, i'm sorry but I didn't change any of the volume of any sounds since the last version, I guess i'll have to recheck and try myself see if it does it for me aswell and if it does i'll see what I can do to fix that problem

it sucks i don't have the sourcefile of the sounds in .mp3 anymore otherwise i could make a much better version out of it with the mfaudio program. anybody with a video capture card could fix that for me?

Yup, random car backgrounds, new icon set & uses the pop typeface.

I don;oaded it last night. It is definietly not yours. Some similarities but different enough to not be a copy. Yours is still better with the icon style and sound effects. They just have more backgrounds. I have seen three so far. None of the backgrounds are images that we haven't seen before either.

Oh, and I gave your theme a mention on PS3Fanboy when someone was discussing the theme that's in the store.

Does everyone have a bubble instead of a proper icon next to Life with Playstation. Thats really really bugging me. I know its not this themes fault, it seems there isn't an icon on most early PS3 themes even from the store but could you fix one of those up Alba.
I love this theme though had it for ages, i really appreciate the work you've put into it.

You mean that big black circle/eclipse looking thing? I'm not even sure that can be changed, as usually any time they have specially designed icons they can't be changed. Just like the PSN and PS Store icons.

Unfortunately, no. That is the Life with Playstation icon for the XMB. I think it is supposed to be the Earth map they use, but as it is dark it is impossible to tell.

Honestly, I preferred the Folding@Home logo that was there before.

I have to agree with you, the F@H icon was nice, now it just looks like there is something missing.

I'm gonna have enough time tomorrow to update, make new icons, update some parts (the infamous wheel theme setting hopefully ) and I think I'll add a background again, just a bit tired of the wave look while it's nice it needs a bit more (too bad transparent png's doesn't work...)

I haven't looked yet but I hope we can add the new account management icons and so on so I can make new ones for those.

There has been no news on this for a while, the thread title has been the way it is for a long time.

Therefore, my curiosity should have a reason as to why the thread hasn't been updated.
