Nice pictures Oner, but I personally think they are too busy for a background. I absolutely love the R8 background that alba has done for us, so can't wait to see what he comes up wiith next!

Oh, and I do hope you realise, those images are not actual "in-game as you are driving"?

Just one, and it may be uneccesary with lowered sound.

When typing text using the controller everytime you select a letter it makes the selection sound, like when you select a game to start it (Bong - probably not the best descriptor), by clicking X. With the volume issue it was very annoying, but I think the sound in general may be better if it is more of a ticking sound, kind of like when you navigate between icons, or just something not quite as attention grabbing.

Does that make sense?

Yes I know, sadly there is no solution for me to fix this, since there are no new updates to the base ps3 theme maker (in the sounds area i have three options and it applies those sounds to other parts not listed in the xml file, so unless they update it *i want to update the playlist icon sony, damnit* there is nothing i can do sadly except remove the sounds altogether to fix it)

Is there any way you can have the sounds just back to normal, as at the moment I have just got them turned off altogether. If there was an option to either have your sound set or the original sound set then that would be cool.

Well, like I said, it may not be an issue with the volume setting adjusted. I know if I turn down the volume on my TV I don't notice as much. So, when you adjust the volume it shouldn't be that big of an issue. I'd rather have the sounds be odd in one area and have the GT sounds than not have any GT sounds.

I've just got my hands on SUPER MEGA AWESOME resources for this theme, expect to see brand new wallpaper for the next version, I'm gonna start from scratch background wise and fix as much things as I can, exciting!

Amar, I know you are busy with your preview edition of Prologue, so whenever you get to this.


I was just running through a bunch of the official themes and while I had the Super Stardust HD theme up I noticed something. The message box is clear and doesn't have that traditional grey background. So, when it popped up while I was watching a video it didn't actually block anything on my screen.

I also noticed the Lemmings one was blue. But those are official themes and I haven't seen it done differently on any user-created themes. Can you make it do that?

I think it is the best option for that message box and didn't know if you were aware it could possibly be changed. I figured that sense you were so keen on personalizing every single possible detail that might be something you could give a GT touch to or something.

I've not had internet at home since October, hence I haven't been online with the PS3, but I've had one since launch day (GTP_Mars will be back online within a couple of weeks, though, ready to play some online GT5 )

I'm doing some cool experiments atm, like instead of the stupid flags for user accounts, i'm doing a keychain with flags on them and the key and stuff, will post more stuff in a min when i'm done with a few of them.

no need for gif's. Just go into your ps3 web browser, put the address, save it on your harddrive, click on your user (TRIANGLE) information > click on the image > select from photo select and then once you have that done you can remove the image from your harddrive and it'll stay. You can copy/save them to any USB key too to make it easier...

Alba, there is actually a new icon in the game for Quick Tune Setup - I'll do a photo of it later and send it to you so you can update the theme with it.
