alba, just a few requests!

1. I always doctor your backgrounds to remove the GT Planet logo, leaving only the official logos on either side of the image. I like the image branded, but not with GT Planet, and the image looks better balanced with just the two logos. Could you also provide versions with just the two official logos overlayed?

2. I really do think your theme suits either completely black & white backgrounds, or backgrounds where the car is in colour, preferably red, with everything else around it black and white. It adds a real touch of class! Some more 1080p wallpapers that have been made from official material but styled like this would be much appreciated! I also think that backgrounds where the bottom right of the image contains the majority of the detail works best with the XMB.

3. Could you provide links to your new BMW and Ferrari backgrounds?!

Keep up the great work though, it's still by far the best, most polished theme out there. The new "key icons" are brilliant!

Not too sure about the first two but the last 2 look great, I like the pictures the way the are for the current theme, a car set in the dark background, it gives the menu style and sophistication.

PS: I showed some people the photo with the 2 ferraris and they dont believe me that it isnt a real photo.

I think I got a pretty good idea on how I'm going to take the next step of this theme, instead of releasing it with tons and tons of backgrounds, I'll release it with the two bests I think I have at the moment, the Ferrari F2007 one and the Two Ferraris one. I was thinking of having a weekly update on feedback of like one car or one make, make the best background possible for that and then release it on a "webpage" I will make or something like this so you can add it do the theme (HD & SD). If the background is really liked by everyone then I guess i can repack the theme like every months or more frequently, depends on everyone's take on it

I guess this would be the best solution for everyone since most of you are using a third party or your own made background along with the theme so

I should have it completely done tomorrow, the only annoying part is to fix the SD tv part and since my SDTV is gone I'll need someone help on that.

I'm also considering getting a psp next week maybe and I'll finish the port of the theme to the PSP since I can test it all myself, would make it way easier.

As usual, if you guys have any suggestions or constructive criticism, let me know on here by private message or even email.

You could always go through Google Image Search and set it to get Large or Extra Large images if you're looking for something specific. Good way to stumble upon new sites, sometimes. There's also DieselStation, CarWalls or SuperCars.net

I was only using carwalls but what I'm trying to keep only GT related pictures here instead of what i did before so... only GT modelling pictures, it fits better

I like the idea of you hosting backgrounds elsewhere so they can be downloaded - helps keep the theme download much smaller, and makes your job heck of a lot easier too.

Like I said before though, it would be great to still have versions of the backgrounds with and without the three logos, but also if you didn't mind, versions that have just the GT logos in their respetive positions too. I find these much better balanced.

Keep up the great work alba, and I can't wait to see what you do with the corresponding PSP theme!

Ok, I got pretty much everything done, I'm just ajusting the sound effects issue and making one theme without them as it was asked earlier.

I got two background in the F2007 and the Two Ferrari's one. Will upload it as soon as everything seems perfect to me which should be soon

Well, as I am done vacationining for a bit I am sure I can create an MSN account or whatever, and help out if you don't get one.

Does MSN allow file uploads and whatnot? If that is why you want to use it then I will set something up. But if you are just looking for a good chat interface I suggest the PS3.

Just gave it a try for you. As I mentioned here It was too loud but this seems a touch too quiet for me. Not by much and it may be different for other people with different audio set-ups to the one I use.

I think it only needs to go up very slightly and to be honest, it's not as if it's really a problem at the current volume.

I still think the pop-up notification looks just a little out of place with the red in it although that may well be just me who thinks that.

I do prefer the new photo album icon over the older camera icon.

First off, I haven't installed any of your themes before so I hope I did everything correctly.

That said, the Ferrari's look awesome on my TV!

My only thought about what to change would be when you hit the circle button to go back in the XMB it's louder than hitting X to select. If both were brought to about the same level ("select" louder and "back" softer or just change one to match the other) it would be perfect.

Other than that minor thing, it's awesome! Nicely done! 👍

You should know I won't be happy until everything is perfect so even if I have to remake the sounds 5 times I'll do it.

This stupid program to make .vag files (usable only for playstation audio stuff) doesn't have any indication of the "base" volume was for the old files so I did them one by one, guess i should have listened once more to make sure they were all on the same level, my bad.

First page is updated by the way, I'm adding more stuff, all the preview image/games/music/video previews picture will get changed with original stuff to fit more the GT universe, I've got a few good ideas... I'm like spending 2 hours just on the menu of GT5p just to find what I could change lol, I'm actually thinking of changing the XMB GT friends icon to the 2P battle one, not sure yet... since I'm thinking of using it for "Add a friend" aswell, I guess I'll stick with the later.

I've got a few ideas for the next wave of backgrounds but I want to finish everything else first, pack everything in and then release backgrounds with weblinks, will be way easier that way for me and you guys.

I'm trying to get everything done by tomorrow evening, hopefully I get there in time. I'm really annoyed by the playlists icons though, it sucks the theme SDK hasn't been updated in edge, looks crap with the default ones.. and i got a great idea to use starting grid icons for playlists and so on... oh well, whatever. I guess I'll just have to wait for that to happen
