The GT Academy icon just appeared in my special events section. There will be 4 rounds:

Round 1: Starting 21/4
Round 2: Starting 5/5
Round 3: Starting 19/5
Final Round: Starting 2/6

There is a picture of a car (Nissan Leaf I think) in a pit box with a part of the track visible in the back. Can't recognise the track though.

I'll try to make one now. (Don't expect high quality, don't have a good camera)

Anyone recognize the track up there^^^^^^^?

Just like to point out:

I will be the first (that I know of) to predict that GTAcademy will take place on Interlagos.

You heard it here first folks, bookmark this page:lol:

Real Tracks in GT6 currently:
Fuji - Definitely not
Suzuka - Doesn't look like it
Daytona - Definitely not
Tsukuba -Definitely not
Le Mans -Definitely not
Nurburgring -Definitely not
Indianapolis -Definitely not
Monza -Definitely not
Laguna Seca -Definitely not
Spa -Definitely not
Motegi -Definitely not
Silverstone -Definitely not
Ascari -Definitely not
Willow Springs -Definitely not
Brands Hatch -Definitely not
Goodwood -Definitely not
Mount Panorama -Definitely not

The only real track currently in GT6 with some resemblance in Suzuka, and it's not very similar.

So that's a new track pretty much confirmed.

Crazy thought here: what if each round introduced a new track, and they have been delaying DLC tracks for a massive reveal here?

It looks like an area made upon some existing track in game already?

I've been to Interlagos pits sometimes, the view outside may look similar, but all the rest... doesn't seem to be it. Specially the pillars, are very different. (couldn't find a photo in the same exact position)

I will post some pictures of the pits in different types of competitions and you can see... plus, having Interlagos and no GT Academy Brazil right now looks weird.

So, the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace (Interlagos) is pretty much confirmed to be in GT6 at some point.

Suzuka no, I'm sure ;)

No, not really.
Oh Come on, it's this non believing that has everyone like this.

Kaz was there, the GT Academy teaser points to interlagos even further, it's an essential bit of whatever Senna's part of the game will be.

It's kind of a no brainer that Interlagos is coming to GT at some point.

GT, yes. GT6, no.

not to throw out wild speculations, but could it be Imola? Senna history fits, pits seem about right
