Build to class.

I still want to know what these classes are. Because I've not found any in GT5, or GT6. Sure, there are popular PP limits but there are also plenty of rooms with completely different PP limits. If I were to 'build to class' a 500PP car, what do I do when the only lobby I can find is 480PP? Build another one to that 'class'?

Don't get too excited about the GT6 stereoscopic mode. It's appears to be rendered at a much lower resolution than GT5. I stuck a post about it over in the "Hating the graphics of GT6" thread, if anyone's interested, as it probably belongs there rather than in this general discussion.

not only the resolution, but it appear it is severely glitched. ghost cars and some features of the cockpit have slits in them, making the whole thing look off. GT5 3D mode was pretty decent, why not stick to it?

Your comment was very vague and open to interpretation, and the double posting thing still stands.

double posting? some sort of forum rule?

I understand you've got your panties in a bunch, but please.. stop being 'boring'. Run along now.

Double posting is discouraged, either use the edit button or do multiple quotes in one post.

And the whole "panties in a bunch" and "run along now" thing isn't really how the adults talk to each other, so try to pick up the maturity level as well. 👍

Exactly. And the fact that you don't know this Zuel tells me you've never been in a Tuning Prohibited Lobby in GT5 or GT6.

I have been in them and I really don't car for them due you can NOT change the set on the car. As in adding the necessary equipment to have the car perform better better than stock.

So when can we expect the PP breakdown chart?
Or the actual transcript of the camber letter?

In due time young padawan. It took me close too two years to break down the one for GT5. And now that GT6 has a new formula to calculate the PP system it will take a little longer due to five systems. I'm still working on a formula to combine system two and three together but it's not easy. Reverse engineering a math formula that you don't know how it was put together is a pain. I'

System one

Sports cars with no aero parts.

System two
Calculation of aero parts "Rear wing"

System three
Calculation of under body aero parts.

System four
Race car running in stock form. As in motor being stock with no power adders.

System five
Race car running in modified form. As in motor added power through power adders.

Here is a print screen of the first letter from Mr. Chad Gordan. The second letter is really none of you concern. Is the anything else that YOU need?

You've been in Tuning Prohibited lobbies and yet you're telling me to step tune or tune to class in those lobbies. Brilliant:lol:

No johnny lay off the funny stuff. I said that you can build the car to class and still run it in those rooms, I done it once already. As long as it meets the class and it doesn't have a chassis bar or the power limiter touched then the car can be ran. I have yet to do it again after the small update.

Plus tuning to class will get a lot more car closer together. I can't remember the individual that is already do replica tunes already. He's doing the same thing, stepping the tune to get the best out of the car. Yes adding all the parts and using the power to get the best out of what is there. But are you getting the best out of the car or believe you're getting the best out of the car?

You cannot add parts to any car in any Tuning Prohibited lobby and make it onto the track. And you're wrong about the power limiter, it can be used in a Tuning Prohibited lobby.

i don't like the pixel smoke its hard to see behind if someone spins out or is drifting round the corner , instead of taking problems away like hacks they go and add even more , PD should really make sure there patches are doing good for the game not worse

When I seen you post about this matter I gave it a try and yes the first car I wasn't able to get on the track with a modified car "240SX", just chassis parts and performance parts. So I got into another car and I was able to get on track, once I was on track a ran a lap I though the car was a little to quick for being stock. SO I took a look at what was on it. It had a ecu, exhaust parts and stock brakes no chassis bar and the limiter wasn't touched. Thought it was a fluke or a glitch so I tried again and I got back on track. And that's when I noted to you to give step tuning a go in those rooms to get close to the class number with a built car.

Don't have time to see if it will work again, already late for class.

Data logger says the camber is not fixed...so maybe useful afterall?

14+-+1

Most of that segment is the loop...the green trace being without camber and purple being with(2deg even front and rear, there is some assumption in that this car is indeed still balanced at that amount of camber). The green trace shows higher lat G(marginally) at lower steering angle throughout, I've compared the time difference before and after the loop itself and you gain .4 sec running no camber...

Your name is like my name.

You're absolutely making that up. Tell us the car and exact mods so we can duplicate this wonderful feat of getting a tuned car into a Tuning Prohibited Lobby.

You quoted my post but you didn't read it correctly. Car is already there. "Shacking my head with a smile on my face, thinking to myself WOW"

I'm doing the same for you. There is no class. It's tuning prohibited. You can only change power limiter. Stop with the "class" crap that doesn't actually exist. If you added an ECU you can't use it. Only way you can use that damn Nissan is bone stock no mods.

I dont know is this is just post 1.06, but I find that when people leave the pits, there is a very slight pause. Nothing major, but noticable.

You listed the car you couldn't get onto the track, the 240SX. Then the car I just quoted above, which you said was modified, yet you were able to get it onto the track in a tuning prohibited lobby. Just tell us what modified car you were able to get onto the track in a tuning prohibited lobby is so we can repeat the experiment and prove you right.

I officially hate the new sorting options in the main online lobby. It is nearly impossible to find a good drift room anymore, as they are scattered all over the place now.

And before anyone says "but what about drift trial"...any mode with a point clicker is not a real drift room, nor is it an enjoyable way to play the game. Drift trial is for arcade drifting and for beginners.

The tandem lobbies are now scattered in the wind :(

Thanks PD...you sponsor the most prestigious drift championship in the world, but can't get a couple simple features correct so we emulate said championship in the game.

all i know is that the game is much laggier online now...

I can't even get online. Since 1.06, I get lobby errors, host errors, entry refusal, disconnected within 30 seconds if I do make it into a room, then to top it off, system crashes.

What a miserable pile of trash this franchise has become, I was such a big fan once upon a time. I swear this game is trying it's best to make me not like it anymore and leave the series alone from now on.

About 20 of us witness some of the worst online stability any of us have ever seen last night.

We were trying to run a comp lobby, and couldn't keep it together for more than 20 minutes at a time. We tried different hosts, we asked all internationals to leave...nothing made a difference. People getting kicked left, right, and center, and the room froze each time we changed the track.

It's getting to the point where it feels like a chore to do anything but run test laps offline

I make drift lobbies with the race type set on Cafe
