When did they upgrade the Sauber Mercedes C9 to premium?
Since v1.00When did they upgrade the Sauber Mercedes C9 to premium?
anyone else? When playing online, on the top left of screen you now see only the lap you're currently running; before update, you saw this lap plus total laps written aside.
Not checked, if it appears offline as well.
(1.06: lap 3/10; 1.07: lap 3)
NSX type S, Ruf RCT (the newest one) - MR and RR cars overall - still feel like snap oversteer cardboard boxes. I do agree that there was some kind of tire physics update but in my opinion it still sucks big time compared to fifth GT or any PC sim. It feels like the tires have too small slip angles (comfort meds and up) with very big grip dropoff past certain angle. Grip drop with overheated tires is harsh too. It just doesn't feel right at all to me. I wrote this only to inform some of the people like me that 1.07 "hidden" changes won't fix the game for them. You're kidding right? I think the physics update they threw in has improved things quite a bit. I decided to have a little BMW M3 party in the wake of the new car being added to the game, and the tyre feel/grip threshold seems greatly improved, to the point where a loss of grip at either end is much more easily felt and controlled. I had a great time powersliding the various (stock) M3's around Ascari.
Not sure what charging a ghost is to be honestanyone else?
@Johnnypenso
Another (welcomed) undocumented change: when charging a ghost, it disappeared after your first tries, you no longer need to go back to the race menu to switch it back on (everytime), the ghost now always stays.

So this applies to Licenses, missions and Goodwood only?I think he means chasing.
But yes, I hated that too, when using a ghost for a Licence, mission or Goodwood, the first time when you purposely restart the run yourself by the pause button [rather than the automatic disqualified restart] the ghost would be gone on the next go and you would need to exit and re-select your ghost to chase.

I think it's probably this car.And the real car doesn't have those extra headlights, but I'm still happy to get any new car.
Ok I think I got it...added to the OP:tup:From what I can remember of it annoying me, yes, as Time Trial runs do not have auto disqualification restarts.
In the end I got so annoyed at it that if I was not happy with a start or something early in the run, I would just drive off the track or hit wall for the auto restart instead of hitting the pause button.
- Smoke is no longer pixellated.
Calsonic called. They want their livery back.Nice YouTube livery there. I hope one day in GT, we can make our own liveries, so i can advertise Facebook, like these guys
But that apart: AI still behaves different. They go off track, spin, hit the crash barriers, fight each onther.
Yes it's true, at least for the 24 Minutes of Nurburgring. The AI definitely behaves differently, it's harder to win with an underpowered car and no pit stop. Not impossible, but way harder than before. This would be a huge improvement if true. Could this be checked by people who have resent experience on offline racing? (I havent raced lately) Maybe even a poll "has AI improved? yes/no"??
I'll give it a shot. What would you consider an underpowered car for that race? BMW VGT?Yes it's true, at least for the 24 Minutes of Nurburgring. The AI definitely behaves differently, it's harder to win with an underpowered car and no pit stop. Not impossible, but way harder than before.

Fully modified Peugeot 106 on RS tires for example.I'll give it a shot. What would you consider an underpowered car for that race? BMW VGT?
Now that just sounds silly!Fully modified Peugeot 106 on RS tires for example.
It doesn't need to pit, make sure transmission can hit 275 km/h - 300 km/h (draft). On 1.06 and earlier versions it was fairly easy, win by 15-30 seconds, on 1.07 0.5-3 seconds so far for me.Now that just sounds silly!
And another thing - anyone noticed the tearing enginenotes in BMW VGT video - not like any hoover I know.. 👍 Might be recorded just for the video though - lets hope not. Thats just what I am missing from the GT series.
Nurburgring changes, signs-graffiti-masts...???
going to check that and the bumper camera movement......
Confirmed, symptoms persist after 1.07 with both older laps and new ones.Anyone had chance to check over the datalogger yet and see if we'ev still got the mph issue with the wheel-speeds?
off topic but McDonald's did serve pizza once. it was horrible.I don't understand the logic of posting complaints in a thread that's only supposed to list features and explicitly states (multiple times) that whinging should be taken elsewhere. That makes as much sense as going to McDonald's and complaining that they don't serve pizza.
