That's "Button Navigation" and was in v1.00. Hit the pause button, go to Options and turn it off.

And yes, it's really, really rubbish.

Interesting. They must have always been Off by default, and now they're On. I stand corrected, and will turn them off ASAP. The really rubbish thing is that the only one that was correct was accelerator.

The hold time between all lights on and all lights out... I believe.

That's great news. The bad news is that the penalty for a false start is way too harsh IMO. By the time you get power the field is way gone and you have little hope of catching up.

Also, it doesn't ghost your car, so if you get a penalty the cars behind you are going to crash into you. I was excited for this feature, but I doubt I'll ever use it since it will just lead to chaos and ruined races. Your opinions may vary, of course.

You and me both. It wouldn't have been as bad if the buttons displayed were correct.

No, you should've read the thread and not expected everything in the first post. Don't try to deflect the blame towards the OP.
I'm not blaming anyone. As I said, it was my bad ("I should have been more thorough"), but I figured if it was so annoying for people to keep bringing it up, it might be helpful to include it in the first post as then more people would see it and be less likely to post about it.

And, although it's probably a bug, I would suggest it still counts as an "undocumented change" and people who don't know it's a bug will be looking here to see if there's new content or something. Just a small note at the bottom of the post would probably be enough to clear up most confusion.

Since only the person who created the OP can edit it, and that person might not be online for some time, it makes sense to take 5 minutes and read the thread. The guy could be sleeping or doing laps, so might not be able to update OP all the time. It only takes a few minutes to read this thread and you will see how many times that question was asked.

I have noticed that my dealership keeps saying there are new car listings but i can't find it, this has happened scince my update yeserday. do you's guys know what it might be?

Hi gents this update sounds promising I must say! I have a couple of questions before I get too excited. Sorry if this has been addressed prior, but has body rigidity degradation been addressed? And finally, what about the sounds of the GT3 Bimmer race cars?

These were a couple of my main gripes for not playing anymore. I miss my GT though..... and if this has been addressed I will consider breaking out the old wheel again. Thanks!:gtplanet:

I haven't really been paying attention to that part of the discussion because it's more of a bug than an undocumented change but obviously I need to make a note of it. I added it to the OP...at the beginning so it's the first thing you see:lol:

Are you using a wheel when you see the wrong prompts? If so, I'm pretty certain that the on-screen button indicator is just mimicking the buttons on your controller. My reasoning is because I changed some of the button commands from the options menu, like for instance my "X" button is used to bring up the RA Menu. When I accelerate with my pedal it thinks I'm hitting "X" on my controller and shows "RA Menu".

I think the update turned it back on because that was the first thing I did after the initial lap when you first start the your career after registering your name in was turn it off.

Yes as I stated in my post, using DFGT. I figured it might have something to do with the controller button config, I use the old school GT1 control config for DS3, for that rare moment when I don't use a wheel.

No it's not a joke i looked under all the manufacturers for the usual new car tag but i could not find it, i checked the usual updates again for example, Red bull, bmw & Chevy no results found?
They think it's a joke because it's been mentioned several times already, including a conversation just above. I added it to the OP in the first line of Undocumented Changes.

Ooops my bad.:dunce: I must have missed that post. You understood what I was trying to say that's what was important.

Yeah I understood, it was my initial thought as well, I was going to change the controller config next time I play to make sure, but you pretty much solved the mystery. Thanks.

Camber is still not fixed...did my usual test at the Cape Ring Periphery, focusing on the "ring" portion.

14+-+1

14+-+2

Green is 0 camber, purple is -2 deg F/R. The lateral G shows the green being consistently more, while at a consistent(and consistently less) steering angle(less fighting the wheel to get the car to turn, and less front steering to turn the car), while green also shows more time at WOT in the circle. Ultimately the laptime was faster too, and not insignificantly since that time was also the first lap time vs the 5th lap on the cambered car, and over 1 lap the 0 camber car also had 2 mis shift....lol

Same car, a S2000 tuned for a league race on SS tire.

The red/blue abbreviation and hard lines in blur have definitely been fixed. Atleast at Laguna Seca they are.
