The reason why most people eat up the PD Statements is because not many could even imagine nor believe PD or Sony could possibly be so vile, and maybe they aren't, but the outcome certainly points to the cynics being right about something fishy for the time being!

Sony is not the same great company it was during the PS3 era . During the ps4 era they slowed releases to a crawl . Started charging for online despite the fact only killzone shadowfall , uncharted 4 and GT sport had real online MP etc

Ghost came out super late in the consoles life cycle and Horizon , although amazing , Does not surmount to the variety on the ps3.

Agree with you, that Sony didn't act the same as it did in the PS3 era.

But the comparison has to always be made to what the competition did. During the PS4 era, what has Xbox done for example? It was waaaaay worse than PS4.

You got Horizon Zero Dawn, Last of Us 2, God of War 2018, Days Gone, Uncharted 4 and Uncharted Lost Legacy, Ghost of Tsushima, Bloodborne, Nier Automata, Gran Turismo Sport, Shadow of the Colossus, The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy VII remake, Death Stranding, Detroit: Become Human...

Over the PS4 era, you still had a ton of good to great to amazing games to play with in comparison to the competition. Like, it's really not a contest. Every developer (mostly 1st party ones) has been on a downfall, but Sony is still at the top quite comfortably, and in fact, I think the gap is actually going to be wider.

So far, only GT7 has disappointed the fans, but the game can still be saved, and we all know the immense potential is has to be one of, if not, the best racing game out there.

I really hope they update custom races with, at least, same options that in online races, so PP and BHP can be added as limitation. it could be great to add more options like FF/FR/MR, TB/NA, nationality or manufacture too.

The notes say that the 1m credits have to be claimed before April 24 or something like that. I have logged in and I already have the 1m cr ticket in my gifts box. That's pretty unfortunate. I can't imagine some of the changes mentioned being that hard to implement, like raising the credit cap, or just adding in a few events that already existed before release.

That's the thing. It's not hard at all to implement. It's not really a matter of difficulty but choice. I'm perplexed as to the choices, but as with management for a lot of things, not just publishers, it's peculiar in my observation

Also most people in here are children and don't know how the world works. That pimp analogy is literally a technic used in business every day all over the world. In work places all over the world. It's taught in physiology classes in universities all over the world.

TBT, GT7 should've never been a game for PS4. It's supposed to be a next gen game. Being on the PS4 platform, holds it back for the simple fact that devs have to waste time/resources on optimizing the game for a much weaker hardware platform.

Its a way for PD to hide their inevetable sales failure, PS4s user base to the rescue of a cluster mess of a broken game.

1- Sonys SuckerPunch released two games on PS3 also 2 games on PS4
2- Sonys Naughty Dog released 4 games on PS3, 4 games on PS4.
3- Sonys Guerrilla released 2 games on PS3 and 3 games on PS4

Definitely not, maintenance would have been scheduled already (assuming it's the 31st for you now)

General rule of thumb when there's "FIA" (or "World Series" events) on is there's not an update the same day as a race. There's a race tomorrow.

However there isn't a race on April 6th, or April 13th.

We've also had most of the updates (including v1.04 before launch) on a Thursday; only the emergency 1.08 patch and last week's 1.09 were on Fridays (the v1.07 patch which v1.08 replaced was also a Thurday) - and 1.09 was also a rare example of breaking the no-patch-on-race-day "rule".

The next Thursdays are April 7th and April 14th.

This is mostly true until proven otherwise but then PD must do what actually Kazunori promised, and that is to make GT7 mostly like GT4, so we the 'old fashion GT' players still have to shout:
"Make GT7 Great Again!". And there's 4-5 factors that needs to change substantially for that to happen. Perhaps the probability is 50% it happens before 2023?
