Time to retire the Northern Isle Speedway, your Mileage Point AFK farming services are no longer required.

10-11 seconds in, seeing that part of the mystery layout is tantilising but it doesn't look detailed enough to be an active part of the track.

Maybe I'm reading into your post too much, but I don't really appreciate your tone. I've acknowledged that you're probably right and am usually conservative with my speculations to begin with.
Wasn't intending to come off as condescending, apologies if it did...

Kudos to those that are excited about the track. I just don't dig it as it just practically involves going in a straight line and shimmying to the left/right. To me this isn't my kind of racing.

New Event – Z Heritage (Beginner League)

Good to see that another event series will go live after none did last month.

Two additional rounds added to “Stars & Stripes”

Nice, but why not wait at least until another American track was added? It's not like there aren't other series in need of attention.

Two additional rounds added to the “Vision Gran Turismo Trophy”
Two additional rounds added to the “X2014 Nations Cup”

Meh, I feel like these fantasy-themed events have gotten too much attention lately.

One additional round added to the “Gr. 1 Prototype Endurance Series”

Hopefully it's Le Mans, but why only one new event? This is one of my favourite series to grind for credits, so two new events would have been great.

The oval might be fun if we had the right kind of cars and with restrictor plates. I've had my fill of it in GT6 so will just join the Tokyo dual carriageway tracks as tracks that just cant hold my interest.

Cars are good and good to have than not, I just can't get exited by stuff I've had access to for years and year prior.

I am happy, a track totally unsuspected and is the first track with the name coming from the old Grand Turismo (This gives a hint of possibility of classic tracks coming to GT Sport), I think this track was needed in GT Sport, to change a bit, SPA, Laguna Seca, are beautiful but how many times have you seen in racing videogames? they can wait

Stop calling this “free”! It’s not. Full price was paid for a full game I do not yet have and I pay a subscription fee to play the “full” game that I paid for. It’s not free. I paid for it a year ago. It’s not a wonderful gift. It’s PD trying to offer a good fair product for price.

Let's say it is a gift. It’s the thought that counts right? Ummmmm was there thought to this? Pleases the video gamers I guess. To me, as a gift, this looks like a cheap sweater that’s the wrong size.

The more time I spend watching PD and how they manage this game they look more and more like a talented company that’s poorly run. They succeed in spite of themselves due to a lack of competition and a rabidly biased fan base. At least they get it right that they should be adding content without additional cost.

IMHO , this kind of GT (sport) needn't a giant oval ... SSR7 should be more appropriate than SSRX and more technical too.
Anyway this track is Free so welcome back SSRX .. i hope to have with this track the inner variaton too (remember the teasing video of the Honda NSX prototipe some years ago) ..

@ Poliphony Digital : WE HATE SPA :grumpy:
...reverse psychology.(cit. Svenno)

Don't forget the cost of the console, TV/monitor/projector, internet access, electricity and mortgage/rent. Why this update specifically must have cost tens of thousands of pounds, for a bloody Integra!

What a waste! Is it supposed to be a progress to have cars and track that were available in GT6 YEARS ago!!

PD are so lazy! They're following their old patterns! What more do we need other than ( old original tracks / real track / modern race cars):banghead:
I'm not sure you know what the definition of laziness is. You could probably criticize their priorities for releasing content but I certainly wouldn't call them lazy.
