Stop calling this “free”! It’s not. Full price was paid for a full game I do not yet have and I pay a subscription fee to play the “full” game that I paid for. It’s not free. I paid for it a year ago. It’s not a wonderful gift. It’s PD trying to offer a good fair product for price.

Let's say it is a gift. It’s the thought that counts right? Ummmmm was there thought to this? Pleases the video gamers I guess. To me, as a gift, this looks like a cheap sweater that’s the wrong size.

The more time I spend watching PD and how they manage this game they look more and more like a talented company that’s poorly run. They succeed in spite of themselves due to a lack of competition and a rabidly biased fan base. At least they get it right that they should be adding content without additional cost.

Step away from the Mountain Dew.

Well... I did not see that coming. Special Stage Route X is good. Itll be just like when I used to drive on the Test Course in GT1 (since the layout is the same). Good to see they've added another league event though.

Time to get the Porsche 356a, Honda Integra DC2 and TVR Tuscan Speed 6 tomorrow. Can't wait! :D

I have no plans to buy an overly expensive DB3S any time soon, but I should probably make some credits tonight. Currently sitting at 300,000 cr., which I assume won’t get me very far beyond the Integra and Z8, or Tuscan.

Would have prefer a different track, but I welcome any additions! :)

Love the new cars, hope the Aston isn't gonna be 10mil+.

What would really make my day, however, is if the super slowmotion refuelling in Custom Race will be changed back. I always used Custom Race to test and practice race strategies for my league races, but it's kinda irrelevant now when it takes forever to fill up. This is not affected in lobby racing, so only chance now to do some relevant race testing is through lobby, which isn't always possible since you can't do that by yourself.

But anyway, really like this update and looking forward to see the full patch notes and the undocumented changes (I assume there will be as usual).

Completely agree. It's funny to see all these people try and convince themselves it's a good update too. Hey, if you're happy, good for you though.
Personally don't see how people can get excited for going straight forever, a big long easy turn, going straight forever and repeating until your eyes pop out of your head. At some point you're really not going to care how "pretty" it looks. It's just going to sit there on the screen and you're going to pass over it time and time again as it sits unused.
Again we see a new car to the series graveyarded in Group X as well.

One of the best updates. So happy the GT350 sits nice and low on its suspension. Actually, all the cars sit pretty low. The TVR has a little bit of gap between fenders and top of the tyres. So, just a slight adjustment and it'll look great in the Real Circuit Tours.

The Z tyre width is fine. Will look awesome in GT4 replica liveries.

What can I say about the ITR? Looks perfect. All we need is a raspy exhaust note.

Now, about SSRX. You KNOW next update we're getting the EK9! :sly:

I'd just like to say that GTS at release was a complete product. The entire idea of GTS was to have a small, focused car list built around esports racing. It was not meant at any point to be GT7 with 1000 cars and whatnot.

Just saying.

No matter the track, it’s not right to argue that eight free cars in true Gran Turismo spirit won’t make a good update. In addition there are new events and Scapes to enjoy.

It’s hardly the only intended purpose. It’s a top speed test facility. Something the game needs. The Mulsanne Straight of Le Mans is not ideal.

Again we see a new car to the series graveyarded in Group X as well.

Is it truly a “graveyard” when other vintage racing cars are in the same class?

Pretty much for all previous updates, I would have happily paid. 1.31 was the first one that I didn't care for really as another variation of Tokyo wasn't something I needed and I didn't care much about the cars.
1.32 I'd skip entirely if it cost any more than 0€...

I wouldn't call PD lazy but my impression is that support for GTS is slowly but surely fading out. I wonder what console gen GT7 will be released for.

A part of the Sport Mode structure will change starting January 17

A part of the Sport Mode structure will change starting January 17

The structure for the Sport Mode has been reviewed, and we have changed the system for points when a competitor enters multiple races of a single round.

1. The Matching Regions for Daily Races will be returned to 3 regions.
Daily races had been matched in 5 separate regions in a recent change, but these will be returned to three regions of Europe/Middle East/Africas, North/Central/South Americas, and Asia/Oceania regions.

However the online “FIA Gran Turismo Championship” will continued to be matched in 5 separate regions.

2. Race points gained in the last race that was participated in will be counted for the championship.
Until now, the race with the highest point result out of multiple races entered in the same round was counted towards the competitor’s effective points, but this will now be changed to only count the race results/points of the last race that was entered.

This change in structure will be in effect for the Daily Races starting Wednesday, January 17, and for the Online Championships starting Wednesday, January 30.

Please continue to enjoy Gran Turismo Sport!

Just PD Logic
