2 laps for the easiest, most boring daily workout.

Night looks cool. How many cars can fit sideways? 5/6 cars wide or so?

That's a cool pic.

I keep seeing post saying that this track will only get used for drag racing and cops and robbers and other crap but......ummm...some of us actually raced at that track and it was pretty damn clean racing for the most part. The game needs more variety and this no doubts gives it that. We get one oval and everyone loses their **** even though it's the first oval that's been added into a update in this game. It ain't nothing wrong with this.

PD; "So, shall we finally add Silverstone and all its variations or how about the fan favourite, Spa?" "No, what we really need is another oval, that will win the hardcore fans over!" "Any new, current cars?" "No, lets keep on digging up old ones from past games and add the odd new vintage car because everyone loves nostalgia rather than progression!"

Now, dont get me wrong - i love all these free updates. Not many games get the level of after sales support and updates that GTS does. But it just seems they are stuck in the past when it comes to cars, like they ignore the current generation of cars. While i guess Route X has its fans, i doubt its as many as Silverstone or especially Spa. And why no new to the franchise real world circuits?

Will be the first update yet where i wont be buying a single car or testing the new track!
Since Le Mans arrived in May/June we’ve had a consistent run of real world circuits such as Tsukuba, Red Bull Ring and Fuji. Far more, and far more frequently, than I imagined. SSR-X is not my thing but on social media it’s clearly a fan favourite of top speed tuners, drag racers and online racers. Who knows, it may even turn out to be a great track for earning credits, replacing Blue Moon Bay.

We know various real world tracks are on there way. Silverstone, Spa, Laguna, all very likely. All need more work than fictional tracks, but it also makes sense to release such circuits, with race cars.

As for this update and it’s car selection. It lacks a modern racecar and supercar. But the selection of cars absolutely have a place in any GT. As a car enthusiast I’m very much looking forward to trying the DBS, Dino, 356, Integra etc. In fact I try every car as some of my favourites turn out to be models I never previously took an interest in.

There's also a ship I can't recall from GT6.

Hopefully there are people and movement happening at this location. I think there was only a cruise ship and a sail boat that moved around, in GT6.
I think there was also a town across the water. Well, less than half the day and I'll find out.

In my opinion, to response of what I read....it’s not only FREE (so you have to shout up and get what they get), I think its 50:50 its something free but not forget its a way to promote a game and keep it alive after 1 year. So in my opinion: it’s nice we have free content, but its understandable people agree or disagree, it means people play and still use it and get hopes for a good development. At last it means the game is still alive...

As far as sport mode goes, SSRX is a complete waste of PDs time. Literally thr worst tarmac circuit in their library they could've picked. Again, it can't be that resource intensive to create a new circuit to ps4 standards when they've implemented a track editor in previous games.

About time we see the return of SSRX...I missed it :)

Now the time to see what the true top speed of the Tomahawk's X VGT is finally coming.
Right now, the Tomahawk X’s unassisted top speed is 397 MPH with Low drag mode.

When the Le Mans update first came out, the top speed of the Tomahawk was roughly 449 MPH.

Just noticed this. Might be to negate a certain exploit.

7. Controller
 - The DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller and steering controllers will now have an automatic switching system. When the throttle or brake on one type of controller is pressed while driving, that controller will be enabled and the other controller disabled.

To those who complain about the "salty opinions": Please ask yourself a question: Why do these critical opinions still come up? Do you think these are just haters and you calm them down by calling them "salty"? Most of them have some valuable critic and just want to get a better game. Another thing that many drives crazy is the lack of communication with the fan base, the vital core for this from so many beloved franchise. When I compare the communication from PD with the one I witnessed with the guys at Evolution Studios when DRIVECLUB was still a thing it is, sorry (salt incoming), an absolute desaster. In 2019 you can't just do your thing like it we would be in the early 2000s where social media wasn't a thing.

I never got any response from PD, neither on Twitter nor per Email. These two things are the reason people are complaining and it doesn't help if people who are satisfied (and I'd never insult them for liking this game and support, it's their opinion) think everyone has to be happy with the status quo.

I find the music of the tráiler very reminiscent to gt5 an 4 music.
Hope to see (or hear) more music like that and less UK trash.

On one hand, the return of SSRX does set a good precedent for more legacy tracks to return.

On the other, this track still feels a bit out of place to add to this game. There's only a few cars that can take advantage of its massive straights to my knowledge; Group 1 cars maybe, Dodge Tomahawk, Bugatti Veyron, LaFerrari, McLaren P1 GTR...

More options for lobbies hopefully

This. I feel the lobby feature is gravely under apprecieted by PD. So much that could be done to improve! My Top wish is to get a proper race weekend system.

Setting up a classic Practice > QF > Race event. As a host for a league, I'd very much appreciate that, not having to monitor the time to switch start QF and then start race.

Totally agree lobbys are badly underdeveloped 1 make race option will make my life easyer setting up a Gr.x Lobby let alone other options

Disappointing how many people say “it was what it was at launch and you paid for it”. This is the damage caveat emptor does, it makes people accept inadequate things for what they paid and completely release the seller from responsibility of providing quality. Game wasn’t complete at launch, they’re filling it out. Good on them. I say this as someone who delivers software for a living. If we can’t make features at release, hasn’t happened because I’m good ;), we have contingencies such as lowering rates or extending services. This is what good companies do.
