I wouldn't call PD lazy but my impression is that support for GTS is slowly but surely fading out.

Based on what? Kaz once said the target car count is 400-500. We’re not quite there yet, but the team seems committed to the ambition.

You can only laugh at the saltiness over the saltiness!

Based on the fact that we mostly get recycled cars (which, as detailed as they are, probably require less work than entirely new ones), the change from daily to weekly races, no new features of any kind (like the much requested multiclass racing) and the fact that severe errors in the game don't get sorted out (I haven't played GTS excessively lately, but when I have, pretty much all lobby starts were bugged).

There is so much hate in these treads on the cars that are coming, at the tracks that are coming. We have been spoiled in regards to content and still people keep demanding more. We will probably get our Spa, our Silverstone and such but later on. Patience is virtue.

Ok so my honest opinion for this update:
SSRX is not a track I would have picked to be included in GT Sport, however, as has been pointed out, it shows that PD are at least looking at updating some classic (and I use that loosely about SSRX!) Gran Turismo tracks, so who knows what the future may bring *cough*, deep forest, trial mountain etc. *cough*. I’ll complete any league events on SSRX then probably leave it!

As for the cars, pretty descent update IMO. Looking forward to some awesome scapes with the TVR and the GT350

I agree that the bug fixing support hasn’t been impressive so far, but I don’t think the monthly content updates will begin to end right around the corner.

Finally, a bit of common sense. They shouldn't have even tested the idea of multiple tries. It will still favor those with more time to race, but it's much better with this new rule.

Now they need to move the FIA races in Latin America back to a schedule that normal people can participate in.

I'd call it PD trial and err... well, PD Reaearch & Development.
Was clear to me it was a test, but such a stupid idea it surprises me that they even tested it for a month.

All who complain as children, appreciate minimally what you have received, Jesus... only because they do not receive what they want...

I think it should be allowed to voice negative opinions on free updates. Why would we need a discussion thread otherwise?

I do appreciate the fact that we do get free updates but unfortunately, that doesn't change the fact that I'm not interested at all in the contents of 1.32.

I’m happy with the Porsche... the other cars really don’t do much for me. The track.. well.. if it doesn’t come with a good event to grind credits, it’s a waste of diskspace.

Love the cars no interest in the track. I guess it is good for people that like drag racing.
Not at all. I was sceptic wen this track come in GT5 (it was a DLC at the time if i'm not mistaken) but I find this was great photo places, and now you have more detailed background. Just to mention port zone, airport with planes, radio dishes, and I imagine already the light effects the night.
Who else noticed how much of an Enthusia vibe the trailer song has? Simply loved it.
A Enthusia fan...I upvote. Love the infinite bridge to test propose!
Shame that Konami never ever gona guive a sequel the this magnificient game. And by the way, I feel that GTS have a litle something of Enthusia (many cars are uniques) don't you think!
If you squint a little, SSRX kind of resembles Spa.
By your fault i wake up my entire building by laughing, Beautifull
YES!

Many will be livid, I’m sure. But I LOVE the science of being able to benchmark cars and test in-game physics here.

Plus, this means that they may not have forgotten about the Road Course Version of Route X after all.. :P

I would like to see a kind of Hot Wheels Forza DLC to GTS
Also, another thing to add about SSRX is that it's actually quite a pretty track. Others might disagree but I love the aesthetic it has, especially at dusk/night.
I agree this is a great place to take pictures.
The satellites look awesome.
Is more radio dishes to listen radio frequency from space...yes I know, semantics. But yes, I agree with You.
Stop calling this “free”! It’s not. Full price was paid for a full game I do not yet have and I pay a subscription fee to play the “full” game that I paid for. It’s not free. I paid for it a year ago. It’s not a wonderful gift. It’s PD trying to offer a good fair product for price.
Yeah...say that to the ****** content of Project cars and Assetto Corsa

I think Super Duper Special Stage Route X has a place in every Gran Turismo,it's a track that's focused on speed above all else and that's something useful in a racing game,it's underwhelming when people are excited for a update and get this track?Yes,but it's nice they got this out of the way in January, from now on every car in future updates can have it's speed tested in a specific track.

Agreed, but I think the updates will start to have more time between them (as we have already seen) and we'll see recycled GT6 content mostly. It looks to me that the size of the team developing GTS updates is smaller than a year ago and more people are working on a new game.
This is more of a gut feeling though, I might be totally wrong (and happy to find that out via future updates).

Let's say it is a gift. It’s the thought that counts right? Ummmmm was there thought to this? Pleases the video gamers I guess. To me, as a gift, this looks like a cheap sweater that’s the wrong size.

The more time I spend watching PD and how they manage this game they look more and more like a talented company that’s poorly run. They succeed in spite of themselves due to a lack of competition and a rabidly biased fan base. At least they get it right that they should be adding content without additional cost.
You paid for the content in Day 1 nothing more they could easily charge 2-3€ per update if you can't understand that you are delusional.

I am happy that they changed the race points - it means if you have a bad/unfair race or disconnection you get another chance to prove yourself, but adds risk for people trying to game it for max points. Hopefully it will take out some of the frustration of connection errors and being punted at the first corner in races with damage.

The SSRX is interesting for testing cars rather than racing, and sometimes it is nice to be able to just cruise at high speed on a straight road with the horizon in the distance. Until it gets boring.

Prediction: SSRX will be used with the Porsche 356 in a 1 lap Race A (or a similar car - N100 or N200).

Not agree with all the haters, SSRX is a good one in my opinion, the game needs some ‘fun’, that track is the top if you want to test speed, acceleration or just have some fun. On the last two updates there are many vintage cars, I think now for PD is basic to create a separate category for those cars, a 100hp of the 50s doesn run like a 100hp of this century.

There's another way to look at Route X, going with your set up ideas and that is top speed racing. Nascars have been rumored for GTS and X is a sensible addition if that's the case. X lends itself to some slipstream battles and setup shananigans. Apply a fuel economy and you can have a pretty interesting and technical race. There's also a huge potential money exploit as well.

As for the wheels I'm very happy TVR makes a comeback. Now bring back the Speed 12, cerbera and add a sagaris and I'm happy.

The thing I dislike about PD is how they keep their games outdated, feels like we are stuck in the early 2000's, look at any modern racing game, they all feature the most recent GT3 and GT4 cars as well as a nice niche selection of modern road vehicles, just compare the vehicle selection in games like Assetto Corsa,PC2,Forza to GTSport

It's free, you paid what you paid for the game as it was when you purchased it, if you were not content that the game was worth what you paid for it at that time that is simply a matter of your personal judgment. By very simple definitition of it being free, this DLC is Free DLC, it factual, not debateable.

At launch the game was sold as a focused e-Sports game prioritising the online gameplay and the original smaller, more balanced pool of cars it came with. The DLC realease since has widened the games scope and brought new features and modes, however if you purchased GT Sport at launch expecting GT7 that is your own mistake, not PD's.

I didn't buy it on launch becuase of how e-Sports focused it was, I now own the game and I am happy with my purchase. The January DLC is free, as is any other future DLC that does not cost and more on top of what I have already paid for the game.

i think we will start getting bits from gt6 to sport, i cant wait to see a spec 2.0 like gt5

I'm interested in what some of the undocumented changes might be. Any theories?

The X icon from the library screen, used to exit to main menu, gets added to all layers of the different menus. Probably not, but it would minimize a myriad of reverse navigation.
