Update 1.32 (January Update) speculation thread - update released!

356,an old favorite from my Porsche Unleashed days...wow this is like the best update they ever made in terms of car selection,nothing but classics.
Now with all of that convertibles and coupes it would be a perfect match to go cruising around forest or some nice coastal city...
That car on the second row though,I don't know the name but the shape suggest it will be the oldest car in the game.

Gotta be N100 for that 356. We really need a Custom Race function, to group type of car. The Pre-1979 Class for both race and road car, would be welcome.

My thoughts exactly. Kaz releases an FIA certified "SPORT" version of Gran Turismo and adds more and more road cars?! I love Gran Turismo, and I'm eternally grateful for the years of enjoyment Kaz's creation has given me, but does an idiom like "Jack of all trades, master of none" translate into Japanese?

What about Australian Supercars (and the Ute variant)? What about other open wheel formulas lower than F1? What about, if you really must, NASCAR (and their truck variant)? How about some classic DTM or British Touring Cars?

You don’t need race cars to race. As shown by many of the FIA Finals where roadcar classes where used. Neither would the list of racecars you mention fit into an existing race class. Unless you wanted to squeeze a V8 Supercar into Gr.3 or a classic DTM car into Gr.4. Personally, I’d rather wait for an expanded class system that acommodated touring cars, NASCAR etc.

Any new race cars are going to fall into three categories.

A. Returning cars from GT6.

B. Cars built since the GT Sport launched, ie new GTE/GT3 cars.

C. OEM partnerships, ie the Supra GTE concept and the soon to be revealed Supra GT500.

We also know PD like to theme updates when possible. I’d imagine when we do get the newer GTE/GT3 cars there will be upto three in a single update.

The Fairlady silhouette is confusing because the front mostly resembles the Z34 and the rear makes me think it's the Z33.

That definitely looks like a Porsche 356 speedster. Bottom left did look like a mid-80s Supra at first glance, but I don't think so.

I can already see myself doing my own one make series with that Porsche.

There was 1 race car in the last update

Though that race car in the last update happens to be a Gr.X car.

Was hoping for new race cars as well regardless whether it's Gr.1/2/3/4 but I can wait much longer as long as the road cars they're adding are enough to interest me like the Porsche right now.

Delighted to see the Aston Martin DB3S and Porsche 356. It's also great to see TVR back. After that I have no interest in the other rehashed stuff. Plenty of you guys will be happy to see the Honda Integra Type R.

I will ask though. Where the hell are the race cars? This is another road car focused offering.

Exactly what Im thinking, some cars here are a great surprise and wonderful to see, but the game needs to release 1 or 2 race car focused updates in the next months. After all it is GT Sport and most people spend their time on Sport Mode, in which 75% of events are with race cars, so you can say this is an exciting, but at the same time dissapointing update.

I was hoping we'd get a much older Porsche, but I honestly expected another 911 if we were to get more from the brand. I grew up on NFS: Porsche Unleashed, so the 356 is the stuff of dreams in my book. Of all the cars added so far this might be the one I've gotten the most excited for.

Regarding the supposed Integra, are we sure it's not an S15 Silvia? There was a premium model in GT5/6. And any sort of lock on the car on the left of row 2? Doesn't look like anything that's been in GT recently.

What I see is:

A TVR (Don't know the brand well enough to say which model )
BMW Z8
???
Ferrari Dino
Nissan Z - can't tell if it's a 350 or 370 (z33/z34)
Porsche 356 (!!!)
Nissan Silvia S15 (?)
Old Ford Mustang? Or maybe Shelby GT350 since there was a premium in GT6?

I'm also hedging a bet that we could see the new Supra pop in there as well, it's just left out of the silhouette since it's still yet to be "officially unveiled". Maybe, maybe not.

meh no new GR car, I glad if that's DC2, Z, and 365 on teaser but really no GR car? Isn't the game call GT Sport is aiming for more race car and e-sport thing? (my main reason to buy GTS btw)

But why they messed up? first they separate Asia and Oceania and now give half asses DLC. Good time t practice wheel on another game then before back again to GTS, not like I hate next DLC really appreciate with they keep run this program. More I see the DLC is more derailed from GTS philosophy itself become new soul of GT or something like that.

Hope next month we get GR4-1 car 1or 2 even 8 maybe just like now all road car (+hostoric racecar) DLC? Meh that teaser really give me a bad mood
