We need to steal some golf carts from the Goodwood golf course. :D

I'd have to check the Kinrara Trophy entry list, but a lot of the owners of the cars in the race are Brits (and some of them drive in it too - it's a two-driver race).
Famine, when did you last go, I have only been to the revival once, with wrk fully paid amazing day I have to say. Sadly I no longer work ther.

Someone mentioned about how there's no Goodwood event for the Nostalgic '79 series. To them, I say: Give it time. I give it 3 months before it appears. :D

Jesus, some of you guys have no knowledge or appreciation for the history of the sport. Take a look at any track prior to the mid-late 80’s. Fast, flowing circuits where the norm. The introduction of chicanes ruined many great tracks.

Goodwood is one of the best circuits in the UK. We’re fortunate to have this gem preserved in real life and recreated digitally.

I wish British tracks went back to this philosophy

Yes, most likely. This update will for example introduce the Super Formula event on Autopolis, which many took for granted when the track was added about two months ago.

My only complaint is the amount of races they added to GT League: surely they could've squeezed out more races, like c'mon
That and spruced up all the league races in general. They've added so many cars since they introduced the campaign and a lot of them are not in the races at all. If you go to the beginner FF races, for instance, you will not race against a Mini Cooper. Why? Why is that? Put it in the races. Plenty of instances of this. Update ALL the cars into the various league races. I know it's an "online" game but a little effort would go a long way for game play and appearances.

Some races don't seem to update the car list.
If you do the firsts J-Sports Meeting races for example, you can see there are too many SWIFTs\Roadster S and as more races got added, the newer ones appear like NSX, 22b etc... (only in those specific races)

Well, I’m looking forward to it, just tuned the wheelnuts off the classic Mini Cooper in preparation and downloaded ‘Self Preservation Society’ for the in-car radiogram.

Cars having to be manually added to GT League events implies that PD is using some ancient and inefficient code. Other racing games on the market seem to randomly pick from a pool of cars that qualify for the event restrictions at hand.

I'm under the impression that some of the AI in League races are just recorded driving of the programmers and not a devoted race line that they randomly follow like in Custom races. How else would they get that "drunk driver" style of sliding around you especially find in the Sunday Cup and Clubman Cup. I mean, what makes the cars ridiculously barrel into the barriers with almost no braking whatsoever?

The driving line of cars in GT League events appear to totally scripted, or recorded as you say. Try repeating the same race several times and you will quickly noticed the same cars always driving off track in the same turn on the same lap. I suspect it's one of the prices we have to pay for impressive graphics.

Ohhhhhhh Kaz, please bring these little things to GTS in the June update................PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dopey:

But seriously, for the nature of Goodwood, you really can have "David and Goliath" battles like this, in cars of different perfromance!

Alright, a new track comes not too long after I finally started playing this GT installment myself. :)

I've heard that this track has some significance with British Touring Car Racing, so this should be fun to try. I think the first car I'll drive on it will be my Shelby GT350.

Because it's a GTLeague race, not an Arcade or Custom race.

"Prices we have to pay" ffs.

I've seen a few people around the internet suggest that this will be a "boring and easy" track to drive on (based off of the track layout map)

Think they'll be in for a huge surprise once they get to a higher speed on this track...
This 100%.

Goodwood looks "easy" but it'll bite. Hard.
