Kunos have never worked on any console version of AC or ACC. They have absolutely no interest in consoles whatsoever. The console versions are ports done by a third party commissioned by the publisher.
The only way a next gen version appears is if the publisher thinks they can make money out of it.

Gotcha. I'll keep my fingers crossed for an upgrade but your gut feeling might be right given the niche market for sims on console.

A port shouldn’t be too difficult because of how close consoles are to PCs now, but with how 505 games did the Control Ultimate Edition, I doubt there would be a free upgrade. I can see them doing an ACC ultimate edition with all the DLC as a next gen release next year

I'll dish out if they decide to do so. How are the TM loadcell pedals treating you? Worth the upgrade?

Curious about your FFB settings as well.

I've had a blast on my Pro playing PC1 , PC2 and ACC , but especially with ACC there was a beast of a game waiting to be played on PC so I took the plunge and have made the switch.
Happy is an understatement , I feel now I can enjoy the game the way it was meant to be played.

Repurchased.

The frames are still very rough on the One X; it's likely still hovering around 30fps. Apart form that, the physics are obviously 2nd to none on console but my FFB needs a bit of tweaking in order for me to feel lock-up / snap oversteer. The suspension model feels excellent with the cars reacting to every undulation and weight transfer from hard braking as evidenced with shaking in the cockpit + the audio cues.

I do hope Kunos work on a version for the Series X. This game is 30 fps away from stealing all of my gaming time for a good while.
It's very likely they're working on a next gen patch/version right now, maybe that's eating into time for updates. It

Was AC not ported by Kunos themselves? Thought it was...

Original AC was ported by Kunos simulazione themselves.

Then they get adquiered by digital bros

ACC is ported, developed and supported by D3T Ldt studio for all consoles and helped by the publisher 505games.

Kunos simulazione now only develops and support the PC version.

All decisions like make compatibility with next gen and all will be decided by digital bros/505games regarding consoles

For the moment they don't have the hardware yet..

"We're still working through the details of next-gen back compat; hoping we can get some hardware soon so that as a starting point, we can ensure everything works on the new hardware."

Big upgrade over the T3PAs I had prior. The spring in the gas has developed a creaking that I haven’t looked at yet (the feel/function hasn’t been effected). But other than that I’ve been really happy with them. They are a bargain when you consider most load cell upgrades to T3PAs are over $100 and drastically reduce pedal travel

As for FFB I believe I’m currently running 75% strength, 100% dynamic damping, and everything else at 0%. Also have different presets based on the different DORs

So they say, they said they weren't working on a PS4 version which turned out to not be true seeing as that was said during the year it was being developed. Though technically they were telling the truth as Kunos were not working on it.

I'll bet that there will be some form of an upgrade for the next gen consoles; at the very least a stable 60fps without touching the graphics which I would be more than fine with. Don't know if they would have to unlock the frames via coding or if the consoles will just do that on their own. Not my area of expertise.

Let’s see whatever phantom upgrades/downgrades we get this time. I’m praying they’ve gone back to the original draw distance, windscreen effects, rain effects etc.

Although I’m naturally pessimistic, what with how things have gone so far...

Am I making stuff up or did the update break the aspect ratio or something?

everything looks slightly off. Like too narrow or.... just weird?

Yes the new update did that. There is dirt back on car, on windshield. Wich is better and a bit realistic.
But i didnt drive in rain so dont know about that

Look here ...I did a screenshot comparative between ACC PS4 1.00 version and the new one.

Also a video comparing rain on windshield 1.00 Vs 1.05

Resumed...I stay on 1.00 version ...goes smooth, looks better, less bugs, better detailed FFB on Thrustmaster wheels and AI is also faster and with better awareness as in 1.05 (same difficulty level and agresivity setting in both versions)

Really surprised with 1.00 and disappointed with D3T Ldt support..really didn't expect what I've seen and feel

Doncced, how can you play the previous version?
Is it offline only? Cos if you're online it will try do install the update and you can't play it otherwise

Played from launch on Xbox one X. Since last patch I don’t experience the frame pacing issue anywhere near as much. More recently after racing for approx. 5 minutes in any one race the remainder is so much smoother, it’s literally like a switch is flipped. It looks to my eyes I’m getting 4K 60 so much more often. Anyone else notice this ?

I'm still getting occasional stuttering at some tracks but not all but there must be something good cos I done really notice the other issues, it's pretty much all I play at the moment.
