There is something I don't understand, new cars get a "new" sticker, but not all the time.

The Ford GT '06 and the TVR Tuscan are at UCD since yesterday but without "new" sticker.

I check everyday to see if there is a car that is not yet in my collection and in my garage (as I sold many of them long ago, not knowing that "in collection" is not the same as "in garage").

Wait... Is that last part true? :-o

The Ford GT has been in the UCD for like a week! The Tuscan has been there for 3 or 4 days!

Yes. If you buy a car and sell it, it still retains the blue book icon to say you’ve acquired it but it’ll obviously be gone from your garage!

The Ford GT and TVR Tuscan both entered the UCD on 12/1.

I really don't see the point of having cars in the UCD that are available at Brand Central. I mean, is anyone here indeed buying those just for the small discount? We all know that a few thousand credits are completely irrelevant in this game.
Tell me you didn't play GT7 from release without telling me you didn't play GT7 from release. Them credits be worth every quarter mile I ran back then 😅. There was a time where racing didn't afford you racing tyres!

True, just started playing a few month ago. Didn't know things were different in the early days.

anyone know if there's any differences in GT auto between the corvette c3 convertible or the hardtop in the used dealership right now. I'm half expecting one of them to have a unique widebody. Was shocked both cars in game, since in GT Sport, only one C3 existed

I think they are only there to add more variety because the game is short on actual UCD exclusives.

While you're still working through the Menu Books, those few thousand credits are very relevant. Further, the used discount has been part of the numbered editions, though many of them also had differences in car condition.

There are 74 cars (out of 489) exclusive to the UCD, with another 36 shared between the UCD and Brand Central. I wouldn't exactly call that "short".

The convertible has the base 300-hp (real-world; 298 hp in-game) 350 cubic-inch engine with a wide-ratio 4-speed manual. The Stingray has the optional 350-hp 350 cubic-inch engine with a close-ratio 4-speed manual. There were also several 427 cubic-inch engines with various outputs offered that year, and I think one of the previous GTs had the 427.

How long would you say a full inventory rotation would be? I want the Gold Special Edition Trans Am but it's gonna be 5 more rotations till it gets there

About those "special picks":

I already bought two Testarossas in the past and now there's this low milage special pick and I think of buying another one...or two.
But: Is there really a difference or is it just a number? Are the higher milage cars really worse in any way? Or is this just a marketing trick to make you buy cars again?

What's supposed to happen is higher mileage cars degrade quicker over time and lose BHP permanently

But I've not seen much difference from racing my low mileage and high mielage cars yet. If you're worried buy em all but so far it's not an issue whatsoever so don't I bother spending more to buy the low mileage ones

It's only a number.
Hmmmmm🤔

Well, whatever, I now own 4 Testarossas🙂

Isn’t that meant to be a fixable thing by selecting the “new body/engine” option within the tuning shop? And out of curiosity, is what you’re saying officially stated anywhere?

Yes that's what the new body and new engine is for. It'll cost you a pretty penny on some cars I guess.... Not sure if it's worth buying the ultra low mileage cars yet. No idea if it's stated. It's just what we know
