having some trouble getting the pics on here, how do you guys do it?
i'm going to advanced reply and i see how to attach files from my computer, but theyre failing to upload. is it because they are .jpg?

Need to fine tune it but there is no point due to the differing physics.

What do you think about at some point changing the "standard" tire over to mediums.
Hards are pathetically slippery. You slide on cambered corners when your not even doing anything.

Mediums make the car feel like a car, not a sliding death machine.

Anyone agree ? I'm not asking everyone to change, well not any time soon, just want your opinion because that's mine Hards are fun but are getting old with their antics lol.

Ive asked people before and most of them wanted Hards so thats what i changed it to. At first i had no tire restrictions and the racers fussed about it. So i changed it to all comforts. But even after i did that people still didnt like the idea of other tires being used. along with that i was alwso being told CH's are what they usually use. So since the majority of the registered drifters liked CH's i made it just them. Make sense?

But i thank you for your imput on the situation. Once the season starts we will then figure out the changes that are needed to be made to make this competition more fair.

Yeah I did see that... And C-H are the current GTP Tire of choice really, would be a more of a challenge, faster, more exiting, and more realistic if we went to mediums soon though. Hards for now, plus I don't think mediums will ever become the tire of choice, hards are set in stone it seems.

Hards are easier, but we are supposed to be the pro's

C-H also cut out the difference between high horsepower cars and low horsepower cars keeping the field even. If we do move to mediums, the higher horsepower cars will have a huge advantage due to the higher grip.

Yes but most of their ae86's have over 500hp. Can we get that on the game?

No, that's the trouble, on cure for that is a sub class for 230bhp and under with C-H tires.

Like a D250 class(CH) and a D700 class(CM).

This series is a tester right now cause only me and shonvonstig are running it. Lets just see how this season goes and maybe we can another later this year with changes we come up with through this season.

It's just I suspect my opinion on the tire thing is shared and wanted to share it

As was pointed out, the problem is low power drifters unable to meet power demands.

Maybe in future a D250 and D700 series should run. But that's on the horizon and would require C-M being widely accepted. C-H for the D250 .

BST is GMT + 1 essentially, British summer time, got me confused !

Knight is regestered as well, we have a BTCC event at the same time, I'm in a drift team, the BTCC was just a fun thing on the side, my BTCC team mate has YLOD, I may just drop out of the BTCC and run in this. Drifting is priority!

You used the HTML code, the BB code is the other option, use that, it's far better and now Flickr has it as default, for that reason.

No need for "IMG" function in the forum, just copy and paste straight in. BB CODE!

Haha thanks, hopefully my driving will do the car justice. Still haven't gotten around to practicing the ARM section, been too into the A-Spec on my SFX account. Hopefully I can get a few runs in there tonight. 👍
