I agree that the full track is a bit long, but I don't think cutting out the first 2 turns is the right solution. IMO the turn 2-3 transition is the hardest to get right so as to have enough speed for turns 3-4 so I'd rather not see those go. Full track will be really fun, obviously we still need tandem test runs to really figure it out :)

Yes, I am doing these ideas on a whim. I need to get everyone in a room and watch you guys do things and here all your opinions. Then we will go from there on making changes or what not.

Having doubts on being able to do it? j/k Hey man im giving out over a hundred bucks of my own money. I gotta atleast make you guys work for it some how right :sly: 👍

Heh, still haven't tried it yet to be honest, I was just sharing a thorough observation.

It will be both difficult and rare to see two cars tandem, in competition, on that full track. By limiting the amount of corners it would make a clean run more likely as well as being easier to judge.

Incorporate the downhill into the left, I don't mind, I'm just saying a smaller section would be more beneficial from many different standpoints. 👍

Edit: Maybe see what other tournament participants have to say, perhaps?

hey I had a little photo shoot with my 350z i dont know what picture to change it to so ill let you pick.

When we can open a practice room. I will have everyone test out and suggest stuff. Then we will come up with a final decision then.

and also ... Fuji is a very big track and as Adavicro suggested a section for the competition would put a lot less pressure on all drifters. The downhill at the end is probably the best section for a drift competition I've seen on the game because it is technical. Initiate too late or too early and your done for!

Fuji D1 ?

Go to short chicane and turn around, go backwards up the hill, and drift the 2 following corners, the short left and long right, the left is an outside clipping point and the right has an outside clipping point and then hit the apex on the end. Job done. Very hard.

Very difficult for sure, a clean battle looks absolutely awesome though :)

This is the D1GP line we are doing. Excuse the awful line i was trying to get the video done asap when i recorded it.

Im not sure either. I have pictures on flickr too but since i couldnt figure them out....so i just use photobucket.

Well it must be your pictures being set to private mate. Only thing I can think of.

EDIT..

Video wasn't half bad mate, well done.

Yea i no where near got close to the clipping points. But ebrake is my friend :)

You can set the eye up so that when you turn your head right and left it will make your view on the game look right or left.

Sucks.... :(

Yeah :( head tracking would be absolutely awesome for tandem. I think they should put a censor in the PS3 bluetooth headsets for headtracking. It'd be easy to install (make them more expensive obviously) and would be awesome just because pretty much everyone who plays online wants to have a mic anyway. Since all usb and bluetooth connected mic's work with the ps3 it might also be an incentive to actually buy the SONY one :)

/inventive idea rant :P

You should work for SONY, if you did the damn PSN would be back already! 👍:sly:

Edit: here is a vid i took the other day. First time this car has been drifted. Mind you it was never set up for it. And sorry for the 2 videos there was some time in there where nothing was happening.
