I recommend adding the HP ratings of each car in the tune. At times I'm specifically looking for a car to fill an online bracket I'm lacking and it'd be nice to know. As well, you should use the OP to link to the tunes. Unless someone reads both pages they won't see that you even have an Evo tune. This will become a larger issue as the pages in the thread increase.

As always words of wisdom!
Ive sorted the thread out a bit and will add the HP for the Evo tune đź‘Ť

I have been looking for a good Evo IX RM tune for a while, although your tune handles well, it lacks the lap times I can get with a tune taken from the Citroen WRC stock tune (slightly modified) by a full 3 seconds on Laguna Seca... The Citroen tune that works well in my opinion on the Evo IX RM is this -

Aero - 12/20

LSD -
10/10
20/40
10/20

Torque - 30/70

Susp -
(-20/-18)
14.4/11.9
8/8
8/8
6/6

WA -
2.0/1.0
0/0.20

B - 5/5

By no means is this perfect, but try it out and see if you can pull any decent lap times off of this tune.

Thank you for the feedback.
The Evo tune is still a work in progress, I do feel I was perhaps premature in posting it...
I will try your settings and see how it behaves.
Im not to strong on 4wd set-ups if im being honest so this is perhaps not my greatest tune lol
I will keep working on it and see where it goes!

Please keep trying with this EVO tune, I enjoy the 4WD cars but they are difficult to tune that is for sure... lots of options, but no other tuning thread has a good setup yet for this car so I am counting on you to make a solid one lol

Haven't tried any of your tunes yet -- but damn you made your cars look very good! Might have to steal some of your ideas ..

Regards to the evo tune I've discovered (by accident lol) that if you turn off the LSD and use the active yaw control (ayc) set at 90 it improves handling massively!

Completely over looked the Yaw control!!!
Thanks for the heads up will look into that and see where I went wrong lol

Don't let the slight wobble (apparently more noticeable on the EvoX) on straights (if you use a wheel) scare you; AYC dramatically improves cornering.

Also, I'd say that a bit more camber on those Elises of yours may help with the sliding on banked corners (mentioned it in passing to Adrenaline and he said it dramatically helped your 111R). đź‘Ť

Thanks for the pointers...im still kinda new to tuning so appreciate the advice :dopey:

I tried your Lotus Evora tune and (maybe it is the way I drive, aggressive with a wheel) the Evora still likes to slip the backend out under braking. I tested the tune on the High Speed Ring and coming to the first braking corner with the bridge almost sent the car sideways. Am I driving the car wrong? Maybe I didn't set something correctly in my Tune. I'll try to look at that tomorrow - gotta get to bed tonight.

Once I get down to the cornering speed everything works much better than the what I have been able to tune the Lotus Evora. Anything you can think of with the braking issue that I am seeing? Did you do the 20K rigidity improvement?

Thanks for the Lotus Evora tune! It is much better than what I have been able to do with the car.

For me I drives great, I use a DS3 controller for my tunes and brake hard before the corner, and accelerate through the apex.
Its always going to be an issue tuning out oversteer on mid engined cars on cambered corners.
I would suggest braking as straight as you can before the corner and feathering the throttle out.
Also try some more camber on the rear wheels, that should help stabilse it.
If all else fails turn Skid recovery force ON, its almost impossible to spin her then.
Hope this helps

That evo tune's not to shabby on the escort cosworth rally car either on tarmac :)

Any chance you could see if you can come up with one for the M3 GTR?

I use the Driving Force pro wheel and even on some straight hard braking the backend was trying to slip out. Not sure if that makes a difference or not. I also drive with all the aids turned off.

I do not have the backend slipping out issue on braking when I drive other MR cars like the NSX & Scuderia.

I did notice 2 issues with the way I applied the tune - Sport Soft tires not racing & I didn't buy the Rigidity improvement. Should I buy the Rigidity improvement.

I there what i wanted to know is what parts do you buy more from the tune shop for the cars after you've applied the race modification to some of them? because you just have the tune for them.
appreciate some information about this please.

Ok, basically you buy Everything in the tune shop!
Where you have options for parts IE exhausts, clutch, flywheel ect, you buy the best available and install all parts.
This applies to all cars, even after Racing Modification.

Will add that to main page.

Thanks for the info, i'm going to try some of your tunes when i get home.
Keep it up

Lotus Evora Tune Revised, now has added stability on corner entry and heavy braking, understeer slightly reduced also.

This is a great thread.
Some great looking tunes from what I have read.
I'll be trying these out on my cars tonight.

I always have a little tinker with the suspension when I get a car but never to this extent.

Thanks for such a clear and well laid out thread.
