Holy Cr*p!!

Did you reload alot, were you just not one to take any chances--I know you are good but no freakin way are you that good.

I've been killed/busted more then that in one day before.

Well i don't reload after pretty much every busted/wasted situation, but i really don't get busted/wasted that often. If you know where your going, it's not really hard to evade the cops on foot and get to a few police bribes and a heli.

Finally got to play after working alot the last week--

Kills 296,000+
CR 760,000 +

I didn't write down the exact numbers-- but its good to be killing again.

Also-- most people would be impressed by Acidmans Kills and stuff. I'm more impressed that he was able do play that much and not get killed/busted more (10 times total)-- As soon as your old enuf I'll owe you a beer.

No, not really. I predict that i won't do much killing from now on. You'll take that record eventually. I mean what is there more for me to do?

I've only killed 352 588 so far.

Evidently you are already having trouble quitting-- or are you easing off killing so you don't shock your system.

12,000 since you reached Godfather is a fair amount.

And since you ask again (about stuff to do), I must respond-----

SuperJumps!!!!--- the first good one you get is awesome-- trust me!! :mischievous:

Well this game is like crack, you can't just go cold turkey.

As for this Superjump buisness, sounds a little too addicting for me.

But i may kill up to or past 355,000 this weekend for i will surley be bored and have nothing to do. But for tonight, i have a rather intimidating Chemistry Test. :nervous:

Have you considered trying to kill a million people?

That would be REALLY hardcore.

Also, you should post your entire stats file to the stats stickie thread, I'd love to see you entire statistics and stuff.

1 Million people?!?! I don't know about that. It would be really hardcore, but i mean damn. I'd be playing till i'm 18.

Yeah, so what? The average life expectancy of an American is 80 years or so. You've got a long life ahead of you Acidman.....

In tremendous contrast with the people in Vice City. One million corpses would be quite the milestone. :)

Nothing to do (besides killing)?? I've killed so much that it essentially is work to me now-- but of course I'm a very productive worker.

Have you considered working on your other stats in races and stuff or jump rotation. I shared my rotation method a while back but no one seems interested in moving up in that stat-- 3000 degrees is very doable.

The superjumps are not "that" addicting-- but the do take away from killing-- you do get a rush with that first one though (when you sail high over Little Haiti spinning madly).

Are you killing to assume your rightly place at the top of the CR category again??

I did get to play again and should get some time the next few days then I get to hang it up for 3 weeks.

I did go over 300,000 kills tonight :D and I also finished the 7 minute bloodring-- was super easy for a change. I'll update my stats in the morning.

As far as your chemistry test-- I have a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from the University of Cincinnati--want to pick my brain- You should know that I HATE, HATE, HATE, organic chemistry... I graduated with a 3.75 GPA. The only C I got in 4 years of college was in Organic chemistry-- the carbon atom and I are mortal enemies now.

Well it dosen't really matter to if i'm at the top of the CR Record again. I mean Godfather is Godfather to me no matter how you look at it.

I have thought about trying races and such but every time I try to start a race, i find myself with six stars in the Hunter and I ask myself how did that happen? Oh well might as well start killing now. Or something along the lines of that........

I wrote my Chemistry test today and found that is was quite easy!👍
It was on mostly Combonation, Decomposition, Single Displacment, and Double Displacemnet Reactions. Also, a little bit of Specific Heat.

Anybody ever wonder what the exact straight line distance is between Phils place and the downtown police station??

Well it is exactly 625.00 meters :)

(on my second superjump of the day-- it was also my last of the day-I quit while I was ahead)

Also,

Kills 313265
CR 793556

I was thinking of making all the godfathers as #1 in the rankings since there really is no reason to raise it above that, the only reason I haven't is that it would raise my ranking too, and people might think I was boosting my ranking by doing it.

So exactly why do you keep killing--I would stop (or at least slow waaaay down) if I was where you were.

Well i'm not really sure of my motovation for killing right now. It may be to hold you off from the #1 spot, but i keep trying to tell myself that that isn't the case, that i really shouldn't care about it anymore.

It could also be the thought that there is always room to improve. I can always do better than what i've previously done. I may stop soon though. I will most likely be getting a new game or 2 for Christmas (most likely True Crime: Streets Of L.A.) so i don't when i will stop.

I don't think that i'll have the #1 killing spot forever. You still have awhile to go until Godfather and you'll most likely kill your whole way there. I do not intend to keep up with you for all of that. Or at least i hope not.

After Sunday you should get a 3 week break-- I have one day off next week and work every other day til we leave on vacation for 2 weeks-- my kid is at his grandparents house this weekend so I have found some time to play.

Anyway, yes I plan on killing my way there, depending on how much I kill on vigilante or at "the spot" will determine how many kills I need to get there-- I'm guessing about another 120,000-130,000 or so if I keep to my present rate--I've been mixing it up today alternating 20 minutes doing vigilante kills and then 20 minutes of FBI kills. I'm afraid of my game locking up so I end the vigilante and save every 5000-6000 kills-- My goal is to get there by the end of January now.

Doing brown thunder gives you 20 pts per level and an average of about 8.5 kills per level-- I could conceivably reach "godfather" in as few as 90,000 more kills if I did nothing but brown thunder-- I think its faster to raise my CR by killing at "the spot"-- I have to sit down-- actually do a time trial again (to see how fast I am now)-- and figure it out.

I've had a fear of my game locking up to recently, last weekend i had it lock up on me after 4000 kills which royaly pissed me off. i usually save after 5000 kills too, which is only pretty much what i can kill in on evening.

But i have also noticed that my disc is not badly sratched but has a few scratches on it. Could this contribute to the game locking or freezing up i wonder?

Downtown Chopper Checkpoint - 1:36
Ocean Beach Chopper Checkpoint - 1:17
Vice Point Chopper Checkpoint - 1:16
Little Haiti Chopper Checkpoint - 1:32

I don't think it's the disc so much as the PS2. My PS2 (SCHP-30001) is not in the shape it once was and lately I've had freeze-ups... per day :irked: My GTA disc is not badly scratched either so I still hold my theory that it's the console aging.
I've also noticed some strange "clicking" sounds coming from the lens part when I play GT3.
