If I look at the Sandown 500 finishing order. For those that finished on the lead lap, there was only a 30 second gap from 1st to last. I don't know how much it would help to see who is where in a 1hour race. Maybe for Bathurst only.

Tander's Star Wars livery for Bathurst has been unveiled:

The left side with Kylo Ren looks great to me but the image of the Stormtrooper looks pretty uninspiring. They should've also made a deal with Prodrive to have a Star Wars livery featuring Finn, Rey or Luke Skywalker to represent the light side of the force.

I actually quite like it, it's pretty cool I thought it'd be more boring but this isn't bad.

I reckon it looks awesome! Like the pre season test livery but with more day-glo. Notice it's missing the Lion and Helmet logo completely. I thought they would've been using a Retro livery for Bathurst to be honest, maybe the #22 car will have lighter white/silver anniversary livery.

Have to agree with you that the left side with the Stormtooper looks rather underwhelming. Love the colours though, flat black and the red on the bonnet works really well.

DJR have reportedly signed Phil Keed. Massive signing and the natural thing to happen nexts seems to be Coulthard signing.

Isn't Pye under contract for next year? Three into two into two doesn't work if Fabs does make the move to DJR, which one out of Pye and Ambrose goes to make way for him?

I think Ambrose has more or less retired,

EDIT: Cleaned it up so the movements are easier to follow;
-
Tim Slade's REC will be sold to PRA for Heimgartner
- Heimgartner will continue racing with PRA under the DJRTP REC.
- Possible DJRTP lineup would be Coulthard and Ambrose, or Coulthard and Pye. However, DJRTP could stay to one car, if that's the case, Coulthard is the favoured option. It's also expected Shell has a bigger presence on the car and rolling sponsorship will minimize.
- Pye to Tekno. With Roland Dane being his manager, this seems way too likely to happen.
- Cameron Waters will take over at RNR with the withdrawal of Bottle-O sponsorship leaving PRA with no other option but to bring Waters in with his ENZED sponsorship.
- With Supercheap Auto no longer supporting Slade's entry, Supercheap will sponsor Winterbottom's car and replace Pepsi as the title sponsor. This will greatly improve PRA's finances which have taken a hit in recent years. Mostert will still have Pepsi as the title sponsor of his car. Castrol will also have a strong presence on both cars, reigniting the V8 Oil war of old. But don't expect it to return to full swing until 2017.
- Reynolds will take up a seat left vacant by Coulthard at BJR, mainly due to him being able to slot into BJR's culture fairly well.
- Lowndes will run a satellite T8 car with Caltex being the favoured title sponsor for that entry. There may still be a Red Bull presence on the car, though.

Ambrose could just be strictly Endurance, right?

Certainly get the feeling that the days of him competing in the championship on full time basis are over.
Pye moves to Tekno.

That one is news to me. Does make the most sense out of all the drivers that have been rumoured to join Tekno, especially considering who his manager is.
Phew... so much change.

A little.

Cleaned it up a bit. Easier to follow the movements and a bit more detail offered.

Is that all official or just speculation?
Speculation, but the way the cards are falling, it looks certain most of that will happen. Supercheap is withdrawing title sponsorship of Slade's car and HRT are apparently struggling to find a title sponsor for his car. And Bottle-O is also withdrawing title sponsorship on the RNR car. And Pepsi also is pushing just to sponsor one PRA car. But by far, the main beam in this upcoming silly season is Coulthard. Once he decides on what he's doing, the rest should follow.

If Lowndes is going to the T8 satellite car, will there still be 2 Red Bull T8 entries? Whincup and who?

Van Gisbergen (as announced after Clipsal this year), Whincup and Lowndes will all race under Triple 8, but Lowndes will be a Number Three driver essentially, left to his own devices as focus will be firmly on the other two blokes.

He is. He was good calling highlight races on SBS. Good energy on race weekends as well.

Van Gisbergen. It was announced months ago.
Thanks, haven't managed to catch much of the V8's this year.

Ambrose doing a lap of Bathurst on Forza 6 right now.

What a plug for the game. Can they talk it up more? C'mon Ambrose, racing line on?
