He mentioned it on Inside Supercars. As another bit of news, Betty said she will be aroind for a long time. To go with that, Erebus confirmed they will have at least one car running next year. So, if that means they still have 2 cars or they sell or loan out one of the RECs, that's speculation.

Yeah, I was very surprised when he mentioned on the show that he's informed BJR he'll be moving on. Pretty much guaranteed that he'll move to DJR/Penkse now. Where else would he go?

Tekno, assuming Pye and Ambrose don't move from DJRTP and they both race full time or RNR, but I don't think he'll go that way, as (as far as I know) he doesn't bring sponsorship which is what RNR needs to replace Bottle-O as the title sponsor.

Think we can rule out RNR, that seat seems destined for Waters. Tekno, I think are a long shot, especially if the rumour of Steve Hallam going to DJR/Penske are true. But what's the deal with Tekno's sponsorship? Last I heard they don't have a confirmed sponsor for next year?

I'm not too sure about Tekno sponsorship, but I do know that they do prefer Van Gisbergen and Webb.

We do have to see if DJR want the REC from SBR. Ambrose is sending (in my mind) mixed signals. I think he can pull off a season. If he's in that second car with Coulthard providing feedback, that'll be a big help in his progress. If Pye gets the second car, then, Ambrose rapport with Pye makes sense for the enduros.

Webb was at Oporto's when I was having lunch yesterday, I was going to try get the gossip but he was having lunch with his wife and kid. He's always floating around the coast, if I see him again I'll try ask him. Coulthard deserves a decent seat, hopefully something works out for him.

Well there are unconfirmed rumours floating around that Garry Rogers and co. are looking for a replacement for Wall come seasons end. All a rumour though.

Yeah didn't Gary say in that article, that the second year of David's contract was option based on performance clauses or something? Still it would not surprise me at all to see Wall plodding around the back of the grid again next year.

Having Reynolds in the #34 next year wouldn't be too shabby either!

Reynolds is in the top 3? Overall, how can that be against someone? Some teams really need to asses the situations better

Agreed. My past posts have him out the door. I branded him toast after this season. From a performance stand point, this season, with his consistency record, PRA would have to keep him. He's like a David Coulthard or Eddie Irvine or Barrichello at the moment. The more points he can steal from RBRA, the better it helps his cause to remain on the team.

Now, as far as sponsorship. Who would back him? Autobarn? Supercheap? Hog's Breath? That Cam Waters theory seems about right. PEPSI MAX, NAVY, ANZED, SUPER BLACK. That's PRA sorted.

Reynolds at Volvo would be good. The S60 is quick, handles good and stable. Reynolds would be leagues ahead of Wall and a good number 2 at GRM. What if Reynolds stays at PRA and Waters goes to DJRTP? Ambrose school's Waters during the year, to prepare him for PRA. Who knows?

Reynolds has had at least 3 victories robbed through others poor driving, that coupled with how strong he is at Bathurst and his first race win at Gold Coast making the next 2 events his theoretically his strongest, we are yet to see him properly construct a title chase, but he's got a lot of momentum and a serious hunger carrying him through the next event, If he remained at PRA I'd see him as a title contender next year, though its unlikely but not impossible for him to be champion this year,

Waters goes to DJRTP
If that's the case, which it probably won't be as the spot (or spots) seems set to go down with Ambrose, Pye and Coulthard, DJRTP loses me as a fan. I honestly can't stand Waters.

and Waters goes to DJRTP?

I can't see that. DJR/Penske have said on a few occasions that they want race winners. Waters obviously hasn't proved that yet. And PRA keep mentioning about the possibility of loaning Waters out to another team? But honestly which team would be willing to put the time, effort and resources into a rookie who won't be driving for them for more than a couple of years, at most? I can't see it happening. I think Reynolds is out at the end of the year, regardless of where he finishes in the championship.

Could see Reynolds in Fabians ride at BJR? he would be a good fit anywhere really,

As far as Waters is concerned, it would come down to what PRA would provide for that team, and without factory backing, there's not really a lot to offer other then a headache...

Hopefully wherever Reynolds ends up, it's still in V8SC. He's far too good of a driver for V8SC to lose and far too great of a guy to let go. Whichever team picks him up has an absolute talent on their hands. He just needs to work on that aggression a bit more.

I think it's been said that Wilson would stick with GRM whether Wall is at the team or not.
I don't know - Wilson have a history of trying to get maximum exposure for minimal cost, which means that thry gave changed teams every other season.

Maybe not but, when other(Le Broq and Gracie) DVS drivers mentioned that Waters does have talent, his FG is the best car on the grid. He's beating Paul Dumbrell. The FG X is a good package. How much forward the car develops over the other 4 manufacturers, we'll see.

Gracie and Le Broq saying he's good means next to nothing. They aren't proven themselves, but if it was to come from someone outside the PRA banner like Lowndes, Whincup or Courtney, then it means something. His FG is prepared by PRA, so anything besides a win is a failure, in my eyes. It's well documented that Dumbrell has been under quite a bit of stress lately with his business, and that it is hurting his race preparation and his results, while Waters is a highly privileged kid with seemingly very little on his plate. Again, I don't think DJRTP wants Waters. I certainly wouldn't, with his talent aside, he has a history of some pretty dirty maneuvers. Bathurst last year comes to mind almost immediately. Before DJRTP considers Waters, I think he needs to mature a little bit in terms of racecraft.

That seems the most likely scenario for him. Outside of Reynolds current RNR ride, the BJR #14 is the next best seat available. I'd like to see him at BJR to be honest, think it'd be a pretty good fit.

They didn't say he's good. Just that he has talent. And that was taking into account its the best car that maybe she may have better success in. Maybe not at his level but, in that particular FG. I don't know the kid and he doesn't seem like a Mostert, Pye, Percat or McLaughlin. We'll see how he goes on the mountain this time, versus Dumbrell and Webb. He got served at Sandown but, made his way back up with some aggression.

My only real issue with it, is the blank space on the bottom half of the back door. Aside from that it's fantastic.
