HRT Facebook page replied to a comment asking about a special livery. They replied saying it's just the normal livery this weekend.
Literally what I just said;
Facebook posts HRT have made on their page. They seem to be hiding the livery as much as possible with the car cover. But HRT have responded to the query brought up by someone in the comments and have said it's their "normal livery".

I'm not buying it though... Something is going on there.

Good for the sport. I can see Betty running BMWs next(if only).

Maybe "Daffy Duck" can bring over those gold wheels from the bottle-o car next year. 👍
I bet the cars would look supreme. The #4 with black wheels and the #9 with gold.

Would be very good if HP become the primary sponsor for Erebus next year. They're a relatively new to the series sponsor (I think the Supergirls were their first ever V8SC sponsorship), which means we still are gaining sponsors. And HP is also good since they're a world wide well known company/brand, not just some 3rd tier sponsor that have littered the V8Supercars this year.

Erebus, while without a primary sponsor thought the year, have lots of secondary sponsor, usually not large companies, what I'd call '3rd tier' sponsorship, such Kings Apparel and Infants Friend. Stuff like HP and Repsol (even though they didn't last long) are large world wide companies, which in my opinion, look much better and will catch my interest much more.

Percat has been cleared to race this weekend. First practice session starts in around half an hour.

...and Heimgartner(if he doesn't get a co-drive) might be watching his girlfriend race at Bathurst next year. At least she's guaranteed a drive in the main game for a weekend.

V8 SuperView schedule for USA:
  • Fri Quali Race 31 & 32 - 6:40pm MST / 8:40pm EST
  • Fri Race 31 - 8:40pm MST / 10:40pm EST
  • Fri Race 32 - 10:40pm MST / 12:40am EST
  • Sat Quali Race 33 - 6:00pm MST / 8:00pm EST
  • Sat Race 33 - 7:40pm MST / 9:40pm EST

Dumbrell to sub for Percat for the rest of the weekend. Hopefully Nick will be back to 100% for Sydney.

and wasn't Reindler supposed to be a back up?

Yeah, that's what I thought too. Surprised to see Paul get the nod.

Edit: Wow, it really must have been a last minute decision.

Meh for Whincup on pole, just glad that #1 won't be on his car next year. Couple Nissan's managed to squeeze into the top 10.

Edit: Thank you Scotty for breaking up that Red Bull front row. Good lap from Caruso, lost a bit of time in the last corner when he had a bit of a moment. Looking forward to the races.

Dumbrell was REALLY far off the pace, that's interesting unless it was due to an issue
Considering he didn't know he was racing at all until about 30mins before Practice 3, I'd say he went better than what his preparation should suggest

"...the world Lie Telling Championship going on over there." -Neil crompton pointing to Roland and Charlie in pit lane

This guy is the Will Davison of REC owners. Split's from DJR to race under FPR, joins Walkinshaw and now leaves to set up his own one car team? Yeah best of luck with that. However I think this works out best for Walkinshaw, running 3 or 4 cars haven't really worked out for them since the HSV dealer team days.
Last I heard Nick Percat was cleared to race, did something else happen?

He's back in hospital, the infection he's been battling has returned.

That's brilliant. I hadn't seen the footage.

Courtney living up to his promise by putting the elbows out on Winterbottom to help out Lowndes. The Holden vs Ford rivalry is heating up.

SVG doing his thing as well to aid his fellow Holden driver. The Holden's are definitely making it hard for the Ford's.

Oh for sure. No favors for afrosty by Courtney. that's racing. But, Gis, he doesn't care at this stage. Make way for Craig to grab 2nd.
