Guess what guys? Guess what? The worst possible thing happened two days ago to me:

My DFGT brake pedal broke! It's now loose as hell and it's very twitchy :ouch: !!

The military generally doesn't pay that well compared to other jobs. Espicially considering the danger (if you're deployed) and the time spend working. There is one exception though. If you serve in the Special Forces, you get paid a lot. Which is fair, considering the extreme work they do.

I just really want an Aston Martin. :D

BTW. I have to move tommorow's practice session to sunday, as I have a family gathering to get to, tomorrow. Time and info on the session can be seen in the OP.

I'm with you andy. I think you don't get paid enough to risk your life day in and day out.

I have to be honest, unless it's a league then hardly anyone from GTPlanet races anymore. I think it would just be regulars like me Mattie, MSTER, John that show up. I doubt you'd get a few outsides come in.

Anyway how many people showed up at the last session?

Ill try to make next practice.

There are two spec racing leagues, but even they dont run over 500hp with sports hards. A lot of people probably don't join because of that.

I guess people don't like to challenge themselves... A real shame.

It's more challenging to drive, definitely sounds better and looks better too (imo). I don't know if it is the fastest of the two :).

And you shall have it. At least, you'll probably beat me, as the military is doing their best to wear me out. :crazy:

Nurburg will be intersting, as I think the DB9 has the best handling by quite a bit. Just difficult to fully use the advantage, as one mistake will cost you a lot of time.
 
I'd like to point out that tommorow will be the last practice session before the actual races. I would've liked to have more sessions, but I barely have any spare time in the week days, and I have even less free time in the upcomming week, so I simply don't have time to host during evenings. I might be able to host one on sunday as well, though I won't promise anything.

I'll join, but i'm not sure for how long. Tomorrow, temperatures of above 30 deg C. are expected over here. I probably need to cool down afterwards, as the level of the competition is high. That is of course if people will join tomorrow.

Expect 29 here. :ouch: :yuck: I can't stand the heat and I've signed up for a race. :banghead:

I'm away from PS3 today, can't come. If you're going to host one tomorrow then I should be able to come sometime 👍 .

I can't do work days, as I usually get off from work very late. We have our first 36 hour field excercise on tuesday/wednsday. :scared:
