Only got 60 bucks. How much could I get on eBay for my old system? "YLOD 40GB Fatty, with no HDD" cause I have no way to format it.

On a serious note, I thought you already took the disc out? And also, you know you have ALREADY played GT5 too much when your PS3 YLOD's and the game stuck inside is Gran Turismo :lol: .

Wouldn't come out under its own power in the half a second it's on for before the YLOD kicks in. GT5 is what I had on when it broke.

Have a go taking your PS3 to Game m8h3r, they might be able to help. Maybe transfer data to another PS3, get your GT5 out:)

You didn't miss it, as It's being held this evening. The car we're getting is the new Corvette. The production model of the one we got as a prototype in november last year.

My god. First PD teases a new track in the Corvette C7 trailer. Then, a day after. They tease 2 more tracks along with a new concept car. The hell PD? What's going on with you?

With all this excitement, your PS3 picked one hell of a time to die on you, M8h3r.

I know. GT5 is relatively quiet for about 6 months. Then my PS3 decides life isn't worth living and bam, lets bring out DLC! :grumpy:

What's the new video anyway? Guessing it'll be on the new page?
 
It appears as if I messed up a bit. The server maintenance starts at 20.00GMT today, so there won't be much point in me starting up at server. I'll postpone it to tomorrow evening. Same time.
 
Good news. I managed to get GT5 out of my old system. Couple weeks saving and ill be one step closer to a new PS3.
 
Hmm, been doing sums in my head and I think I can order a new PS3 tomorrow. Hopefully get it by Monday. Which means I'm hopefully going to be back to racing with you guys soon. Miss my PS3.

Nope. I'll not only be putting my HDD into the new system but I backed up after the last practice session I attended. So I've got two fall backs :)

No it was my PS3 but I had a 250GB HDD in it. Ill pop that in my new system. Then it will be pretty much the same as it was before. But I always back up GT5 data cause I know it can randomly corrupt. Happened once before. So I have the same data for GT5 on a memory stick as what's on the HDD sitting on my side.

Ah. But if it was your PS3 all along then why would you need to order another PS3?
 
A slightly random and very off topic post by me.

Just came back from seeing Jack Reacher. Very good movie, with a fantastic sound design. Very nice scene with a Chervolet Chevelle SS. :)

I've also ordered myself a Thrustmaster T500 and the Thrustmaster shifter today. Can't wait for it to arrive. Now for the bad part. I got a mail this evening saying that delivery for the shifter should be january 22nd, but the delivery date for the wheel is set for febuary 12th. Don't know why as it's in stock. Might be misunderstanding, as the mail is in German (ordered from the German Amazon due to them being cheapest).

I'm happy to hear that you might be getting a new PS3 soon M8h3r. Any chance you'll be able to join our last race then? Should be epic. In either case, at least we'll be able to race with you again soon.
