Seems like most are up for racing this afternoon. So here's what's going to happen. I'll open the lobby at 12.30GMT, with the race starting at 13.00GMT.

And I'll just copy the race info from yesterday. Just in case anyone missed it.

Quick info on the race. 10 laps on the 24H layout of the Nurburgring, with the race starting at 19.30 in-game time. Time progression and weather change is set to 1. Participants have access to one set of Sport Medium tires, with the rest being an unlimited amount of Sport Hard tires. Be very careful if it starts raining, as I'm not allowing Rain tires.

Each participant can choose for himself when he wants to use his set of SM tires. But do not use more than one set.

Damage is of course enabled, so don't be reckless. We are sure to be driving in the dark aswell.

Well, let's review my race:

1st lap: On the last turn I hit the wall, got damage on the back.
2nd lap: Spin two times right before the big straight, tuner catches me.
3rd lap to 6th lap: Fighting with tuner thru the whole track while having damage on the car.
7th lap: This is when I got 🤬 by GT5. I knew that tuner had pitted, because out of the blue he disappeared from my mini-map, but without receiving any info about how many seconds I'm ahead of him, I had to make a blind decision about pitting or not pitting. I though I was comfortable on the lead, so I make the wrong decision, about not pitting.
8th lap: Lose 15 seconds to tuner, then I pit.
9th and 10th lap: Cruise to the finish, since being on hards, I coudn't be on the same pace of tuner, losing like 1-2 seconds per sector.

Congratz to Dani for earning his place on the infamous Hall of Fame. Was a good championship, though a shame we didn't have a single race where everyone who signed up, joined. None the less, we had a decent turn up for all the races.

Assuming my new wheel arrives on tuesday (it better, as I've taken the day off for it!), I'll host a session that evening at 19.00GMT. The session will be for testing cars for our next championship. As always, we're looking for 2 or 3 cars that are equal in performance. Hope to see some of you there.

I'm excited as you are for your new wheel. It will be interesting to see what you can do with the best wheel for GT5. Must have taken you an age to save up for that though .

I've had the money for quite some time. Just didn't want to rush out and buy it until I knew I had an income to support rent, bills, etc.
