Oh look... another beautiful showroom that we can't have as a phototravel location.

Seriously, it's like teasing a kid with a free truckload of candy anymore. Just give us the god damn locations PD.

Definitely unfair. We all would love to have these.

BTW, those pictures have something different with them. They look sharper than previous images that PD used to show. PS4 photomode? Renders?

They're too sharp, and jagged... this actually looks like a significantly poorer render than most others I've seen in-dealership before. Maybe it's just the car, but it looks really unnatural and... wrong. I'm going to blame shaders for now.

Yes, the car paint looks unnatural... and just noticed some of the jaggies.

Oh well. I'm sure it will look fine when we're driving it, the lighting of the room is probably why the car's surface looks so odd, and the sharp edges are probably deliberate as part of the design. Looking forward to driving it on Zahara de la Sierra regardless.

Well. Good that I ended up being wrong, but so far the VW VGT is the only one with a interior while the other two doesn't have any. So haha still. :sly:

Beautiful? It doesn't even look real.

If you're referring to the quality of the render I put that down to the location.

The car looks a lot better here for instance:

If you're referring to the design of the car then to each their own I guess, I think it looks pretty good, despite the off-putting VW logo on the steering wheel

That's the same showroom we have in GT6 anyway, nothing special...

The locations we have now are crap, and the lighting is horrid on every single one. So to have a minimal, simple, beautifully lit showroom compared to the harsh lit, vast, yet somehow closed off and rather low quality textured ones we have now... it's just a 🤬 tease

Samus is right though, compared to Valencia for instance, the room looks very unrealistic.

Anybody remember the Nike One 2022 from GT4? There was morse code printed on the wheels of the car (if you can call it that), as it turned out, the code read out "www.phil-frank.com", the car designer's website. Now, what I'm getting at is - The VW Vision GT has barcodes printed on the tyres and I wonder, and this is probably a bit of a stretch, if there's a little easter egg there. As far as I know, though, there's no way of any of us really decoding it so it could be an "in-joke"... or just nothing.

Just checked the website and it says the Nike One was in Gran Turismo 3? Hmm weird lol.

But I like syracuse :(

I am again amazed by the shear looks of a GT Vision car, now in a VW skin!

As for the showroom and the rendering that is questioned:
1.The showroom is the same as the one in the Car Dealer, only they didn't put it in the Photo Trave because i believe the PD didn't think the fans would want it.
2.The rendering is i think, done in a
rough GT7 version on a PS4[probably, maybe, whatever...] or a PC rendering programe.

But they believed we wanted every GT5 location cut, and only have 6 in 2 countries. We've been begging for showrooms in phototravel since GT4.
