Wait, what?

So, saw it... was mightily disappointed. No Ant-Man, no Wasp... not even a Scarlet Witch.

I mean, the audience were screaming for more at the end... hard to make people do that when you've subjected them to a final battle rivaling Transformers 2 in epic length (though not epic boredom), and the typical Joss Whedon wisecracks, cliche-breakers, plot twists and pacing was fantastic... but I didn't even get to see Wonder Man or The Vision!

What kind of Avengers movie is this?!?

Seriously... it rocked... I'd say a lot more, but I'm afraid of spoilerizing a movie that has been incredibly spoilerized in this thread, already...

Do you ever learn Niky? Ant-man and Wasp's movies are being done by Edgar Wright of Scott Pilgrim fame. Marvel, in their infinite wisdom, didn't want to cast a Ant-man and Wasp and side step Wright in the process.

Scarlet Witch's rights is so tangled up that it is not even funny. It could go to Fox because she is a part of the X-Men comics or it could revert to Marvel because of the Avengers. Whedon made the correct choice here to exclude her from the movie.

And finally, The Vision. We all know that Marvel was focusing on the founding members of the Avengers that they had rights and made movies for, so be patient and it will be rewarded.

Hahaha... it was in jest. Truthfully, the movie was awesome. Even though it ended in a battle scene as long and comically drawn-out as the end of "Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen" (which had the audience I watched it with bored to tears by halfway through), people genuinely left the cinema happy. They were hooting and cheering at points during the final battle.

Great movie. Possibly one of the best popcorn flicks of the past few years, and possibly the best Marvel franchise movie so far... and that includes "Iron Man".

Indeed it be. I pity you Americans who have to wait nearly another million seconds to watch this movie.

That isn't the bad part of the deal. We have to wait until May 18th to see Battleship, but the movie already earned a cool $100 million worldwide.

So soon? I was hoping that would never come out. I wonder witch story line from the board game they are going with.

Supposed to be decent enough if you turn your brain off, but I'm genuinely puzzled as to why it grosses so well. Not a single teen drama queen in the cast.
