Wallbanger's 1st annual million credit FF Summer Shootout!(6/19/11 final 7/17/11)

It's nice to see people interested in Drivers of past like Senna. I remember getting into him really in the late 90's. Knew about him and his death earlier on, but it wasn't until I got into GT in the late 90's that I discovered just how passionate and a remarkable driver he was.

How's the Testing going Testers, have we made you FF Crazy?

Have you seen the film??

I'll gift a ticket to the 'Peoples Choice' award. What is the right ticket?

I have a 9,12,17,21,22,23,24,1000 available. I would assume a 17 or 21 would be the right ones. Or even the 1000 would be ok. The 22 and up give racing cars. Surely that is too much for a tune.

What do others think?
I think level 17 sounds about on par with the other prizes.

I will throw something into prize pot for the fastest Integra. A free limited edition of "Senna". It will be a one off build and tune and will never be available to the public.
Great! Like to see these kinds of things.

PSN added to the list :) And XDesperado, do I get a pay for my work on the post? :D

Well seems your in luck Onboy. PSN is apparently happy with me at the moment and I've just managed to host a couple of Bob races with your drivers and a few others.

Note: if anyone wants to use my drivers please do so as I can definitely use the extra credits to pay for prizes.

"SENNA" it was released in 2010. Limited theatrical release and then to DVD and BR. A wonderful film in my opinion, gives plenty of insite on the man on and off the track.

Sweet. I'll look for it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Cheers.

I'll send a FR in a day or two. Then a 17 ticket. If I could only get some driving time in.

I think I'll be hitting the track pretty hard tomorrow.

By all means send the FR but keep the ticket. When we determine the winner of your award you send them the ticket. I'm going to be severally backloged on sends when the shootout ends.:irked:

Yeah, it's going to take you a lot of time to send the cars we want when GME wins. :sly: Especially when the cars we want are usually 20-25k each.

I didn't know you loved FFs that much!

You do realise that I can get a lot of low mileage S13 Q's, AE86's and Volvo 240's with that million!

And you'll be willing to wait how many years for delivery?
Besides there's a certain frog that's standing between you and the prize anyways!:sly:

I own the frog too.....I know it's strengths & weaknesses. ;) Hence why I didn't enter it. :P

Ah...but see you thought you knew its strengths and weaknesses, but that Mon ami was before it came under the tender care of my genius!:cool:

The C4 was the very first FF I did up, and has been through more revisions than I like doing.....mind you I am trying to do it with it's full 482hp on Sports Softs. You might be a genius but I'm a mad scientist monkey. :D

See when you can play with the cars balance and power curves to get it down to a certain PP it makes for a much different car. I'm thinking that the next time I do something like this I'll make the maximum PP a hard cap with no ballast or power limiter allowed to reach that number. Will change the way people approach the tuning and make for the possibility of some oddball car being the car of choice because it hits that PP limit exactly.

hmm……given the choice, I would probably blow my 150,000 reward sum on have XDesperado get me a Nismo GTR R-tune, I've been looking for one since day 1, without success……

If that's what you want for your drivers bounty I already owe you I'll start looking now...don't currently have one.

And on that note...Drivers if you start letting me know what you want for your bounty now it will make it easier for me to find it and have it ready to go when the shootout ends.

WhooHoo! Just found a Nissan Option Stream Z '04 with only 38km for 199,962 credits in my UCD! Sweetness:D:cheers::gtpflag:

I ever see the option video of the option stream Z eat s*** at 180mph? Carnage. Absolute carnage.

Got 3 Zs and 1 R-Tune :P

Yeah but do they only have 38km? Hmm does that mean it still needs to finish breaking in?

UCD also had a Fairlady 240ZG (HS30) '71 in it that I didn't have yet.:D like the early Zs not so fond of the newer ones.

My suggestion would be instead just ban certain cars, or no duplicates. We learned an important lesson, FF on SS @ 500pp is too high for the majority of them. I seriously think 450pp is perfect for FF cars. Banning use of ballast/limiter isn't the best way to go if your looking to promote better variety. EXAMPLE I would do this:

1. If the contest is FF cars: No tuners, concepts, race/rally or integras of any type period. 450PP limit, SS tires and a weight restriction possibly no less than 1200kg.

2. If the contest is RWD cars: No tuners, concepts, race/rally or the NSX, RX-7, RX-8, S2000 of any type. 500pp limit SS tires and no less than 1200kg.

Sorry for the long post, hope I made myself clear.

Sort of....you'll need to do the oil change, but DO NOT do engine rebuild because it doesn't change it one bit.....it's the same for any car that has less than 1500km on the clock. I've even got a Pontiac Solstice Concept that I got from the UCD with only 6.0km on the clock!! That's right......SIX!!

I have every Z in low mileage (all under 4000km) and I'm hunting for the KPGC10 & KPGC110 with similar milage, then I'll have every pre-1980 Nissan with low mileage. :D

hmmm.. A 38 km car with black oil ? I don´t know if this car needs to break in.
Will test with my 7 km / blackoiled Atenza.

Not bad ideas and will probably get used at some point...however a lot of the oddball type cars I enjoy would have trouble reaching 1200kg even adding ballast to a stock unmodified car.
Oh and I don't think we've proven the Integras total dominance yet.:sly:

It has been proven many times before. Those were just examples btw. Ask anyone who races FF cars in multiplayer. They are extremely well balanced and they dominate in FF rooms.
