Wallbanger's 1st annual million credit FF Summer Shootout!(6/19/11 final 7/17/11)

16th of July is the date we originally set. If all drivers complete testing before then we can see about moving it up. Also from what I've seen running more than one session with each of the cars seems to produce improved lap times. Sessions don't need to be long 5-10 laps probably. Guessing that multiple shorter sessions prevents driver burnout and reduces pushing overly hard to beat previous times. Might suggest not loading a ghost as that can also lead to pushing too hard trying to "race" the ghost instead of concentrating on laying down a good lap. Just my thoughts/opinions though so take them or leave them.:sly::crazy:
I still have missing tuners/tunes as of now, only have one or two left until people start putting them up for share.
You may see your first sessions time now, I haven't run the second yet. ;)
I'm hoping it improves like Z3ro's.

I think that it is very important to run against your ghost. It helps to figure out if any of the changes your making are actually improving the car. To me at least it is one of the easiest ways to figure out where you are losing time. At least that is how do I my own testing.

Phantasma, phantom, wraith, shade, shadowiness, shadiness, touch, weirdo, weirdy, nuance, weirdie, specter, ghost, tincture, tint, nicety, apparition, trace, phantasm, tad, spectre, spook, subtlety, tone, creep, fantasm,....

:nervous::nervous: Any of this will be a great help to tune online. There is no better way to check a millimetric change in your settings.
First you need to know perfectly the track you test the car ,to be able to reproduce the same conditions lap after lap. Then a specter ghost ...... is the better way to compare the reactions.
But i don't like it to do time attack. when it's in front of me, i can't concentrate myself to be faster and i try to pass it anyway and bang... Stupid . I know..:)

That was my point...and problem as well praiano.👍👍
For tuning it can be a useful tool for me, however when I'm trying for a fast lap in a time attack seeing a car ahead of me puts me in race mode not clean smooth driver mode.(of course we all know Harvey Wallbanger has a problem with the clean smooth driver thing in the best of situations anyways:lol:)
Anyways I wasn't trying to tell anyone how to drive and test but was simply stating a personal opinion. Sorry if I offended anyone. I wasn't trying to cause problems.:guilty::eek:

Slightly off topic here but all the Tuners and Drivers should feel pretty good about themselves. Been running the Bobs online in the NASCAR race at GVS and they are averaging lap times in the 2:10 range.:)

Well at least one person has. They probably just wanted to get all those Integras out of the way first.:)

I think 2-3 have. Sadly it seems I am indeed going to lose out to the Trials, if not possibly a few Teggies. Oh well, my bad for bringing an absolute fatty.

Watch that text speak and all caps, young man!!

Kekeke. I could've used the meme in its proper, image based form but that would've been too much work.

Y U NO READ MY POST..!!

{Cy}

Because racecar.

The volvo is the most equilibrate car to drive. Very good. But i don't understand why not using all the speeds ,higher rear ride height and the positive rear toe. I modify this and imediately i shave more tthan 1,5 sc per lap. 2'02"300. Good car,no spin, good brakes...

It's not a review, i just publish this because i stay impressed by the car. 👍👍

Ahaha screw that no text speak rule. I got so many warnings and infractions because of that. I'm using an app on my phone, of course I'm gonna use text speak. As if people do not understand what I mean or something.

Who needs this 1 mill? I can win 1 mill on la sarthe of fiesta cavallino in 8 min EASILY.

Obviously not the point of this...

+1. It's not about the money because it doesn't take long to get the money back. I've got a million dollar guarantee on our GME Veyrons. If anyone beats our best Veyron tunes (mine or d2's), I give them ANY car they desire under the trade limit, rebuilt and modified with a full GME tune. 👍

All this competition really does is find out who's tuning the best at this time, the old school or the new school!! :D
