op
Thankfully I haven't run into that too much for some odd reason...I turn the other way and runaway very quickly when I do run across it though. You've never seen a Matilda or Valentine move so fast.i feel like the Churchill is OP

I did run into one about a couple days ago...scared the bejesus outta me when my 75mm was doing squat. Thankfully the RB battles I've been in are the "historically accurate" ones with the Churchill's being on my side.I've played a crap ton of Realistic Battles, and Churchills are everywhere. And i had to look, with my squad mate to look at the armor of the churchill to see where to penetrate it, since we kept getting penetrated shots.
There's been a GUI update somewhere. Research # are shown on everything now. It wasn't like that earlier today.
I do feel the A7M is tiered far too low. It would make a good match for an F8F.
I like that as well, it'll be easier to keep track of research now with that.
I like it.
I'm pretty sure it's been there for a while. If not, then the bar has been...
Use whichever belt has the most incendiary ammo on it if it's the American .50s.Damn you puny .50cals!
They had issues with getting 20mm cannons to work properly for a while. I don't remember if 30mm was even considered until well after WWII.I still don't get why America was hard set on using the .50s when the rest of the world had moved onto 20mm cannons and even 30mm by the end of the war.
30mm cannons were on the ME262 and the Japanese were intending to use the Type 5 on the planes they had on order when they surrendered. They had issues with getting 20mm cannons to work properly for a while. I don't remember if 30mm was even considered until well after WWII.
I know but I said the rest of the world had moved on. Why couldn't the US? Why did they have to break perfectly good Hispano cannons?I didn't think I needed to explain that my post was specifically about American armament, since that was the topic...
I think IIRC somewhere, the idea behind sticking with .50's was because of the fire rate and the volume of rounds that could be tossed down range. Maybe it was also a weight thing. It is odd, I mean, the P-38 had only a single 20mm, and the Corsair only got 20mm's for ground attack probably. Look at those early Mustang's that were sent to England and that American squadron which was a part of the RAF, they fitted 20mm's to it. Not sure what was wrong with us. Heck the F8F got 4(?!) of them, but another variant had 4 20mm's.I know but I said the rest of the world had moved on. Why couldn't the US? Why did they have to break perfectly good Hispano cannons?
