P-51? Turnfighter? P-38 handles better and doesn't drop a wing or start snap-roll to opposite direction during turn..

I'm talking about the spits. Only time I ripped wings on them was in a dive that I shouldn't have been in when I was just starting out flying them.
Edit: The majority of American pilots in the game try to turnfight with American planes and that's how they end up getting their BR lowered constantly to the point that the planes end up overpowered for their ratings. The P-47s are too low of a BR currently. They should be higher.

The only American planes which can attempt turn fighting are the P-38 and F4U, I think.

Finally took the time to download this tonight just out of boredom (FO4 isn't doing it for me any more 
).
Great game. Only got about 5 minutes of a match but played as a russian airplane (basic starter craft) and got 2 kills, never died, and really enjoyed the UI (played with a POV from behind the plane).
Looking forward to many more hours. 👍

Welcome to War Thunder, hope you are able to play more and enjoy it. Currently, I play tanks but do have couple of the nations air planes started but you will find that Russian planes and tanks are superior to other nations unless your a skilled pilot or tanker in other nations.

Downloaded this today and really enjoying it.
Tried a Russian tank after playing as the Germans for the first few games and i got top spot with a whopping 9 kills.

Not always. Depending on class, tier, BR, etc.
Soviet planes are superior on the earliest tiers. Particlularly, the Polikarpov series (I-15/I-16) and Yakovlev (Yak-1/3/7/9/etc) on the later tiers. Lavochkin fighters starting from La-5FN were stronger earlier, but then were nerfed. The tier V plane (jet) battles are very bad at balance, where MiG-15 annihilates everything it faces (as far as I can tell from my expericence on Ki-200).
When I play on my A6M5 Ko in RB against Soviet planes, my team wins in ~70% cases, but when my opponents are US/Brits, I am often a loser. My total win ratio in RB on this plane is currently 57%. The US tree has its own OP vehicles, too. Like F8F Bearcat (as I heard from other players. Never flew it myself, but when I faced it on a Japanese fighter, I felt like it's true).
Regarding the tanks, Pz.II is superior to the T-26. From tier II and further, it mostly depends on the player's skill. For example, IS-2 (tier IV) has a powerful cannon capable of taking down most opponents by one hit, but the reload time makes the price of a miss very high.
When a new nation gets its tanks, it's often OP for some time. The American tanks were complaned to be OP when they just appeared in the game. Now, the British tanks have made it, too, and they currently dominate in the ground battles.

That thing reminds me of a plane from the movie "Sky Crawlers". Can't believe they thought of that and got it to uh...work...ish...back in the early 40's. Ugly though.
Okay is it me...or does the Hawker Hurricane incapable of nosing down?
