My job has nothing to do with games or cars but I never reveal the company name or exactly what we do. If I did that I would be fired. Corporations in a competitive market are huge on secrecy, because if they aren't careful a competitor beats them to the punch with an equal or better product/srevice.

exactly. Plus there's a non-disclosure agreement when 'on' titles.. once the title has been released.. the information is already out there anyways. Basically, I cant say anything you dont ALREADY know from the Media.

Just heads up, I'm going to demolish people. It'll take me a week to get back into practice, but closing out the beta, I was finishing games with an average 7-1 kill / death ratio.

I am considering buying this today, though with the way my semester is going so far, I have not been spending a whole lot of time playing the PS3 and I have still yet to sign up for a PSNID. 
Though I do have a problem in that I did not participate in the beta and have no idea what the game is like.
EDIT: I have decided to hold off for a while, I still need to play the other games I have first.

picking my hard copy up tomorrow, anyone know what the special features are and if they are separate or not?

I suspect the special features will be on the disc and will include a lot of "Behind the Scenes/Making of..." videos and probably some pics, wallpapers, and conceptual drawings... but just guessing.

yeah I'm looking forward to having the headset for my phone as much as for gaming, my gf already has a Jabra of some sort and it comes in handy often especially in DC where driving without a hands free of some sort is illegal.

Most people seem to be opting for the retail version which isn't as easy to get the first day. I am going retail mainly because I happen to have $60 at my local store so it works out, I was tempted to download it but theres no other game I would want to spend my store credit on at the moment...

I might have to buy a USB headset now for this game, but one thing I know I will be doing now is most likely buying it by online. But the reason I am thinking this is, because when the time comes in the future when a game is sold, I may not get much back from the Blu-Ray version, when I sell it someday in the future past 2008.
However, this will not mean I am most likely going to buy it from the PlayStation store instead, but one thing I will not be able to do is get this game until December or sometime next year, due to me needing to pay for other things.

just picked it up, im toying around online, mostly just practice alone to get the hang of controls, motion sensing can be turned off, in fact i think it comes that way. though i did just pop into a game and make a few kills before the game froze
