We Did It! The Voting Is Over! WE WON! Thank You GTPlanet.net!

Voted. Although I can't understand why it says this..

Allan Colley 36% 5,037
TJ Winegardner 36% 4,929

Ones much futher ahead than the other.

Just did a few votes. Up by just 100. Hopefully they don't get to catch up with us. Allen really really needs to win this. :D

Only up by 84 now :nervous:

However, with ony a handful of hours left, I suspect Mr Colley has it in the bag :D

Guys... I just took a look at Pollcode's website, and there is absolutely nothing in the code that lets you specify a closing date, or delete/close the poll after it's made. Try it out yourself - once it's made, it'll stay open forever.

That means that the only way the webmaster can stop voting is to remove the poll from his website... which means that you can still vote via the pollcode.com site after that.

What I'm saying is, if the code disappears from the site you can still vote via this URL:

http://poll.pollcode.com/uJC

Assuming there's a reasonable delay between him taking the poll off his site and taking down the final result, we might just get the edge. Clutching at straws I know, but you never know.

EDIT

Damn, if he made an account he can pause votes. Meh, it's still worth a shot.

Allan Colley just lost my vote because his race team is called Phat Daddiez.

Up by around 60, seems like we've braved the worse and are finally on the home straight! :)

Well fingers crossed for Allan, and he'll get another couple of votes from over here once I'm allowed to again, but I think if he does win this, with undoubtably what'll amount to gobbets and gobbets of help from GT Planet, that he should sign up here as "Allan Colley" so we'll all know who he is, and post a bit about his racing achievements, his prizes for winning the vote and a big thank you to us all too! :)
