Do you (or anybody) know something concerning the compatibility G25/PS4??? :scared:
BTW, is that compatibility problem regarding the wheel to the PS4 or the wheel to the games? :boggled:
Is that also true that online gaming with the PS4 is going now to be paid??? :odd:

Yeah u will now pay 50$ a yr for online. As for the wheel thrustmaster is the wheel u will need. I have the 300 some others have 500 wheel. I think there is another wheel option out there but all the logitechs r no good for ps4, its a bummer!
 
The problem is the PS4's new PS button. The T300 can be used completely by itself while playing PS4 games.
The other wheels require the PS4 controller to perform certain functions. Exiting out of the game being one of them.

I'm getting used to now since I did the same thing with GT6.
The PS4 is different than the PS3 so you will need to learn most things over again.

IMHO, it's a big shame making us pay for online gaming!!! :mad:
First we have to buy a new console (not that much cheap), new games, new gaming accessories (pretty expensive as well), we are paying our internet provider and now in addition charges for online gaming!!! WTF!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
When I consider all the connection bugs since a cup of weeks, sorry but I'm just getting discouraged to put any money into that... :grumpy:
One more question: Is a specific internet broadband required for online gaming with the PS4? :confused:

Regarding my case, I'm living out in the countryside in a small village and have a broadband today of about 327 kB/s for download and 71 kB/s for upload (wow, what a good day!!! I get usually about 270 kB/s... :odd:). More is NOT possible without paying a real fortune... :rolleyes:

And in addition, I'm not sure if a T300/T500 would pass on my Playseats...???
 
I went with t300 just because it has proper buttons for ps4, no hassel! I dont mind paying a small fee for the gaming because if i dont im stuck on the ps3. I played gt6 last night and was reminded how un impressed i was, ready to move on and in a hurry!
 
With the wheels for ps4. You need an Thrustmaster or Fanatec. Because Sony simply hates every other manufacture than Thrustmaster and want to make money with Products which are waay overpriced. There is no reason for the other wheels to not work. They say it has something to do with a saftey chip. But the only wheel who has the chip is the T300 and the T500 works as well.
Which is stupid but it is a fact. Wheel is always a personal prefence. I do hate the T500 for example for that price you can get a Fanatec wheel. Also if you dont want to go to the PS4 the Logitech wheels are just fine. I would not change my g27 for a Thrustmaster wheel ever some love their Thrustmaster. Some have 2000 euro Fanatecs and still use the driving force GT.

Comes all down to you and the game. Logitech wheels for example went down the hill in GT 6 when the improved the FFB in some patch ago. The patch made them worse i notice that every time i play Project Cars.
 
For me Gran Turismo has been a drug since it first came out. Drive Club will be a relaxing experience and a way to learn the new PS4. Project Cars will be BACK to WORK. Gran Turismo 7......will be OVERTIME at WORK.

If you really are ready(planning) to go to the next level.
Plan for the PS4 first. Don't rush the purchase.
Drive Club. Find a used copy. I'm sure once Project Cars comes out. Drive Club will fade away. So if you have budget restrictions. Hold off.
The PS4 doesn't need a game for us to get together. We can still hold chat sessions without playing something.
So pass gas, pass out, or let us listen to you counseling your kids. :mad: Manny promised us he would use a different language. :eek:
Just don't use any bad words when you spill you drink.

Project Cars must be on your purchasing list.

A wheel. Don't rush the purchase either. I know more wheels will be hitting the market this fall. The wheel manufactures know there's a market.

Gran Turismo 7 it will be here.


Bottom line.
If you want to play you got to pay. You have two choses.
Either watch the exciting stuff on TV or interact with what you watch.

yes and no to the idea, no problem with going straight into race after qualify since all the drivers get into their groove during qualify thus taking a break might also break the concentration.

but I like the idea of letting people come back in after disconnection.

don't know when is the next update/fix, PD still haven't fixed the offline gear-ratio problem.

you know, that's the bug from lobby, prolly you just add tjger to your friend-list, thus you cannot join his room right away and the message "room is full" will pop-up.

the host have to setup a new room for you to join....

The final rounds of the 2015 GT3 race season
are just around the corner.

We travel to Suzuka 2014 and Mt Panorma

Just a reminder

The cars haven't changed their performance levels, except Team Chevrolet can use the 2009 Corvette
Both races will be an hour long each.

The only changes to the races are:

Qualifying at Suzuka will be delayed for 30 minutes. 7:30 PM EST :eek:
For some strange reason a washing machine caught fire in one of the pit stalls. :rolleyes:
So maintenance is repairing the damage and assured us that it will be ready tomorrow night.
