My participation is in slight doubt... This storm that's supposed to be hitting southern England is being constantly mentioned on our local radio station. So yeah, if I don't make it, I've either been blown away or I have no power...

What times are you managing RS? You were clear pace setter at the Ring. So interested to know what you can do 'away from home' :)

I've been away for 4 days and only now going home so I will do some early evening practise before the race room opens

It´s a shame I haven´t done any practice yet, as I was racing another series. So I go and test a bit now, then I´ll tell you my times 👍

I'm doing some testing in my room if you want to join. :)

Someone else should host, got disconnected already! :D

So yeah, me and Ninners are out at Fuji, in my lounge. You should find us if you have either of us added. :)

1:38.3 on softs, 1:39.8 on mediums, pace seems good.

Just have to hope that my tree by house doesn't get blown over if the storm is actually that bad, and actually gets here, I live about 50mins away from London which seems like I might get away with it.

Storm in my area should arrive at 5am-10am so I should be fine.

Sorry mate, can´t join now, but I can tell my best time by now.
I ran a few laps still with the Nurb setup, made some changes and got a 1.38.074min, which is a good time I think. There´s still room for improvements, so we´ll see in the race :) 👍

You're right in the mix, I made some changes since I tested earlier but I haven't tried a lap with it yet, pace is looking good for me since I haven't driven the car the much compared to other people that have already raced.

Fuji is just not my place, never enjoyed it. I should be somewhere around the front of GTE if I can stay consistent.

Anybody wondering why I was at the front of a large train, I was on mediums, luckily I was sticking it with the soft runners(apart from memto, he managed to escape) once I got onto softs I was able to push and make up places.

I hope Adam is alright, the storm has passed Isle of Wight, apparently no electricity and trees have fallen down along with some flooding

Ninners, yes in fact it was you, Jonny and me that elected to start on Mediums and being able to stick with the train behind you and benefit the draft on the long straight was instrumental to to me getting a decent result. I went a little longer on my two sets of Mediums than the 40 mins the regs stipulated but that was deliberate so I could run slightly shorter stints on my Softs which I think worked in my favour at the end of the race.

Ninners you were really on it in the second half of the race. On my final stop (lap 58/71) I came out of the pits just ahead of Matt. He had more out and out pace than me and drafted past within a few laps but I was hoping that when I let you past (lapping) you could tow me back up to him.

Actually there was no need because he had an off and suffered big damage a few laps later. Following that he then limped into the pits and retired his S2000 due to a massive lumpy oil leak that he'd been holding at bay for a while. ;)

Endurance Racing 101 - Ensure you take a bathroom break right before the race :)

It was very closely fought at the beginning of the race, partly because of me holding up the pack abit, I knew once I got on softs that my pace was good and I could push, so once I switched to softs, the people around were on mediums and I was able to stretch the gap and control it from there, best lap was 1:36.3 when I catching up to you at the end of the race, I took all the downforce off, but then I added some front downforce to try and get better front end grip, hence why I wasn't great in S2, but was able to pass the high downforce runners easily.

Also managed to retain my 100% pole position record and Gadget has pulled away from Matt in the overall standings heading into the final! The gap now stands at 6 Points with 12 available in the last round.
