DRIVERS BRIEFING


Circuit: Indy Road Course,
Laps: 56 (1 Warm up lap)
Damage: Heavy

Warm up lap, Please Maintain a suitable gap behind the car in front of you, somewhere around where you can easily grid up yet have enough space to stop if needed, Tailgating will be penalized as will being tardy,

Remember that 40 minutes must be spent on the harder tire,

There is now a restart policy, There must be a minimum of 40% of the race distance to complete, a steward will post on the thread if there is a mass DC that requires a restart, there is 15 minutes allowed for you to clear your cache and reset your router and re join, from this point you will only be require to use the soft tire,

The race will be held in I-was-ere lobby, so any new comers and anyone else wishing to participate will require to send an FR to I-was-ere PSN account,

GT Cars, remember you are not required to move over for the LMP car, they must find their way around you, as in real life,

most of all have fun, any questions post here,

Ah, Victoria is 1 hour ahead so I believe 6:30AM is correct,

Sorted it out now so the times are up, the countdown clock is to when the room will be open and 30 mins after it opens the spec check will start, if you are not at spec check you will not be allowed to qualify and you will start from the back. The race will start 1h after the count down timer finishes.

It was a very successful opening round of the wec and a few of you will know and we are looking to repeat that in this series so good luck all

1:31 on RM is not far off the pace at all tbh mate, i really worldnt worry about your pace atm anyway as everything is new and it takes people time to find their feet, so running at a slightly reduced pace might mean that you dont run into any trouble and any crashes that happen up ahead of you (ANFD can tell you all about this one) means you can just drive round them and take a sneaky win

These are the mandatory regulations

Headsets can be used during testing and before qualifying, the room organiser will state when headsets must be turned off

Spec checks will be enforced just before qualifying, anyone caught changing their cars after spec check will be disqualified instantly from the event

Qualifying will be a 15 minute session followed by the race countdown timer for all circuits, except for longer special events, in which will have a 20 minute qualifying followed by a 5 minute break for you to sort your food, fluid and bathroom commitments for an endurance event.
Also, the field will not be cleansed after qualifying, so if you are in an LMP car and have a horrible run you cannot expect to be bumped up to the back of the LMP field, you will start where your qualifying time dictates.

Race distance for most events will be approximately 2 hours
