Yes, I have.

A good rule of thumb...

20% of 500 = 100

500 - 20% = 400

So, if you want to pick a high hp car and lower the hp to match the standard, remember that you must pick a car with less than 500hp. 👍

I'm taking a look at a few cars but the most fun I have had yet was in an illegal ride.
The Shelby Cobra at -20 and +10... It still comes in under weight but fun for a quick spin none the less.

Great brakes and oversteer on entry. I just have to figure out this damn understeer on the exits and it will easily be good for another 2-3 seconds by T2.

I am sticking with the obvious and bought the Nissan R390 GT1 Road car. Great car but I don't know what use I have for it in the GT Mode. 1 million down the drain. Oh well...
Did a couple of laps and managed these sector time.

Just a quick question for Kent, CFM or whoever can answer it:

I adjusted the hp in quick tune up and it matched exactly to 400hp. But in the replay it shows 401hp. Is this okay or should I adjust it.

Have checked it on three cars with the same results
The 390 GT1 road car,TVR speed 6,SVT Cobra r

The replay shows 1 Bhp more than the 'quick-tune' does in this case!

Had my first go in the R390 Road car beast, and did these sector times:

T1 - 0'29.414
T2 - 1'05.193
T3 - 1'xx.???

0.4 or 0.5 left at max. 40 or 50 min ran til now.

Had to increase the power in 14% and weight in 6%, or i don´t remember if it was 16 and 4, both values.

Just because it is 18kg overweight doesn't make it illegal for this competition.

Besides, I can use the Ford GT '00 and thrash the Z06, and the GT is 1305kg at its lowest weight.

I will have to try the Nissan R390 road car to see how I do.

LOL, well .......

I am back in Japan for my last year. Note to all, I have been given my Offical word I can retire from 20 years of service in July 2006!!!!! Got that once I returned to Japan.

I been working the JGTC and WRS now, to maybe help my driven skills some. I need alot of work though. Week 12 did take alot for me to try to get below 20 Mins. With JGTC, thought that with AI rubbing allowed, with foirced pit pentalites on, might be able to help improve some more. Still think my overall driving skill needs a major body shop overhaul.

And as far as the Kittens?

Blind Sweatshop Kittens are MR8's and my Racing team in the JGTC series.

And on topic, will be looking at cars later this afternoon when I get off work to see what is best for me.
