I've submitted the time I got from my splits in post #247, moment of panic when checking out what MinorShunt pointed out but I'm clean 👍

Sorry man. Didn't want to cause any panic that's for sure! It is probably just a flaw I had in the way I drove that corner tryin' to catch Puck!(fast bugger) But I had 2 races with the flaw in it, so thought people might want to double check. It would be SO disappointing to put all that effort in a race just to get it kicked for a stupid little thing like that!

Oh and Puck, you got nothin to worry about from me this week. No joy tonight. You're the high flyer! Let's see...L1 T3 is 1'09.925 and L2 T3 is 1'01.617. So....first lap crap, second ok. Time submitted shortly.

I haven't been following this week - what flaw?

He was just reminding us to check out how closely we cut the corners because one corner in particular (just before T1) had no road leading into the rumble strip so had the potential to have more than two tyres off the track if not taken carefully. Luckily for me I didn't cut the corners too much and was clean throughout my submitted time.

P.S Another source of panic for me is the fact that despite Kent posting in this thread a couple of times after I've sent him my lap, the PM remains unread. I'm sure there's reason for this but I'm *hoping* I didn't send it off to the wrong person :nervous:

I haven't run for the last 4 days or so - thought I'd give some time to my b/f - but it kind of worked against me, because I sat down to see what I could do tonight and ended up being distracted by him to the point where I just quit out.

My splits were fine, my finish was slow, but I'm clearly not going to et any peace around here to race like I used to a month or so ago.

🤬

Well, since someone was talking big, I decided I had to have another go at this week's race. I'm pleased with my improvement... So, new submission being submitted now. GOOD LUCK! A tad over 6 more hours left! GO GO GO!

Not to worry.

Generally speaking I try not to read the time submissions until the time for posting has come.

Not exactly sure why but it's just something I've picked up over my time as mod.

This also helps me avoid discussing the "how'd I place" subject during any instant message conversations I end up in.

PS, weary...
I got your time.

I knew there'd be a reason for it, just in the back of my mind was this nagging worry *what if it didn't go to the right person...* thanks for the clarification 👍

On a different note, seeing as though I'd finished a bit early for this weeks race I had a crack at the old slalom tests in the licenses. They were originally the reason I stopped trying for all golds after spending HOURS on them! Anyway, I golded them both on my first clean run for both?!? I tell you this WRS caper is improving my driving skills immensely...I love this comp :)

No improvement for me last night nor this morning :indiff:

I am submitting my time and hoping for the best :D

Can't wait for the results...

The Wizard.

weird thing... i started running and got my best split with the gears at 230... then, the next day a get a better time with 220... only sunday night i realised that 210 was the way to go...

maybe i lost time running with the wrong set up... :dunce:

and the stupiddest thing i did was to go to dinner after i did my best run... thinking there was time, that i would improve more... later ... :dunce:

stupid me! :yuck: 👎 :dunce:

well, could have been very special, but i think it still going to be awesome for me 👍

now the waiting....

god i can´t stand it! :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

1/ You pass the start/finish line with about 5.5s of late (time begins when the 1st passes the line)
2/ You lose time when overtaking AI cars.

Does it answer to your question ?

that´s why that 39´447 looks so impressive... in that pace you should had a 31 on lap 2...
