time submitted, (the lap with t3 of 1'09.128, tried for a few hours last night to beat it, had some chances, like when i had t1 of 16.845 and then t2 of 46.6xx, but failed to replicate the t2-t3 i did) happy with my time though, good luck in the results everyone

I think I'm done for this week. I was cooped up all day playing GT4 because it's been raining, so I decided to get out and go bowling once it stopped. When I came back I ran about 5 laps and hit it almost perfect (at least for me). Unless I get the urge to run some tomorrow, these are my best times so far.

T1: 17.485
T2: 47.641
T3: 1:10.475

I love running in the WRS, even though I'm a div3 and normally a good 2-4 seconds behind the best runners. I have completely changed my driving style, thanks to all the hints and help in this forum, and it is really starting to pay off. Now I need to invest in a max drive so I can start proving my times!!!

Good Luck everyone!!!

You're "normally" a good 2-4 seconds behind people? It depends on the (length of the)track and other things, and then of course it appears you've only done 2 weeks correct? That's not quite normally, but maaaaad props on the times man, that's smoking... Not really D3 style either I'd think, we'll see how this week's race turns out. I'm going to have another go soon here, but I haven't had much time to race this week... We'll see what happens.

And about you needing to get a max drive, that may be this week! 👍

i kinda always had the same idea has kent, all the laps I have ever turned in were like that. and my t times for this week follow that rule. I wish GT4 would have just been online and we could see who really was the "best" driver not just the one that spend 7 hours a week. I joined the WRS to have fun not to spend hrs and hrs trying to figure out how to got .100 seconds faster in 3 turns or something. I know the D1 guys are pretty hardcore but that would take a lot of fun out of it for me I think.

I have a feeling my time will be a little worse than most, I wasn't using the Bathurst or Spirit R... Darn :P

I know it's late, but the Bathurst is probably the best out of them all insofar as p/w ratio. It's a good 11kg lighter than the Spirit R and the 2000 model of the RZ. It has the same power as the RZ which is 4 PS less (I use PS because it is the only power consistent on all screens and is pretty close to HP; 278 HP=280 PS or thereabouts).

After only thirty minutes of time this week:

T1- 18.120
T2- 48.924
T3- 1'12.326

Not very good, but I was playing around with the Bathurst and Spirit R. I know I said the Bathurst was better but I had this time before buying it. My time with the Bathurst (after 10 minutes or so) was only a quarter second slower at the end of the lap. TONS of room for improvement, but I'm not sure I'll get around to it tomorrow. :(

It's not fair!

I wake up, find myself second in D3, put in some more laps, get back to the front. Good-o I thought.

Now, not two hours later, Lewie comes and gives my time a complete spanking. It's just not fair!

Right now, I'm off to watch the midday movie (Rambo III, wooo), I might another short crack tonight, but if I come second again...

Sorry Casio. I was fine w/ my T3 of 1:11.136. Then I saw you bust out a 1:10.6, and it just gave me some drive to put in a few more laps. My first lap under 1:11, and I improve my overall time by almost a second. If you're going to put in a few more laps, then I might have to!!! LOL :)

It's all good Casio. It gives me a new time to chase. But now I see I'll be chasing Lewie. Awesome splits the both of you.

I haven't been able to participate in WRS since week six , but I'm ready to go again! Not sure about the rules about coming back, but I'm still listed in Div. 2. Guess I'll submit my times and see what happens.
Tried all the legal cars and had to stay with the Spirit, I've run probably 50 laps, most within a sec. of each other but so far my best clean times are:

17.361
47.729
1'10.984

I ran a very illegal hot lap, then used the ghost to help me get a fast clean lap. I drive much better chasing someone, I get real flustered when I'm being chased, usually blow it by looking in the rear view too much.

Screw it... I'm not interested anymore. After at least two hours(probably three) spent chasing my ghost over a few days, I don't want to continue... I have about .6-.8 left in it for me, but it's too frustrating and I'm not actually doing it, so yeah. I think I'll be submitting the time that follows my posted splits... :-\ Whatever. I'll take this chance to learn some more cars and combos and tracks in GT Mode to better prepare myself for the next NWGT Race Meeting, hot damn was that fun...

I have to agree - I thought I'd *never* get these splits:

T1: 17.746
T2: 48.689 (screwed the pooch in the right before the long straight)
T3: 1'11.917

Actually I had the same problem like you, KLR142. Chased my ghost lap for a day, then decided to turn it of and did a record time after 7 laps... The splits were slower, but end time was faster..

So you might want to turn it off and give it a try...

How did everyone do in the LAN meeting?
Jump_Ace, KLR142 and I all went to Bobkarts LAN race together. We met up with hot604boi, teej604, gran prix and Cote D Azure there. We all had a great time for sure. I believe everyone won at least one race. It was great to meet everyone.
Bob has yet to post the results and videos, I'll post a link here when he does.

Hot604boi, gran prix and myself had an almost 2 full lap battle at Nurb often going 3 wide.
Jump_Ace smoked everyone at LeSarthe.
Hot604boi and Bob had a good fight in the Mini's.
Lots of good racing really. I'll just wait and let you all watch the vids. 👍

@ hot604boi,
When I bumped you at Laguna :embarrassed: , did you go all the way off or just run wide?
Just been bugging me that I did that (on accident), so I was wondering.

New splits:

T1: 0'17.608
T2: 0'47.953
T3: 1'10.830

Think I will submit my time now as tommorrow is a holiday here. No time for GT4. :guilty:

Good luck all!

Time submitted.

17.740
48.103
1'10.978

Nice enough combo, but the many many restarts, because of the chicane, caused me to race less that I intended to in the first place. :dopey:

Good luck to the rest of you. 👍

i was sideways in the dirt/grass untill the brakemarkers ( which i took all of them out )
hehe

but no worries man, all good racing!!!!

Well it was off for more than a day, and that was after the initial day that I had it turned off because I was at work. I came back to it and was struggling to keep up even where I was making more than .7 on myself the other day. I just don't feel like it anymore. And, I'm pretty much perfect from T3-finish, so there's no way I can have a faster lap with slower splits. My splits are dismal... :yuck: I'm pretty sure I'm done. Depending on how I feel tomorrow night(I think I'm going out, thus no GT4...), I'll put in a couple laps. Not expecting to lay anything down though...

Sorry mate.

RX-7 Spirit R Type A
DS2 (Auto)

T1 - 17.490 (I saw a 17.2 arghh)
T2 - 47.499
T3 - 1'10.435

I'll have one last shot tomorrow, to see if I can get under 1'10. I know where I've lost a bit of time. Maybe 1'10.2 is more realistic.

This battle is quite fun, we're almost down to competitive Division 2 times!

(although, this battle is silly for me as I don't have a way to verify my times, I should of taken second...)

The rx-7 has really grown on me due to this weeks race. It seemed like a bit of a dull combo at first but once I tried it I started to really enjoy it. And I needed one to really get into since I missed the last 2 weeks. Im only just in the top 20 overall so I need to start getting some points again.

i saw a T3 of 1'11.5 by me today, great lap but the dam final turn, again, killed it, i was fast through it wobbly into to it but went off the road on exit.

man, everybody seems to be improving... i have to get two or three hours today... 1´09´5 is possible... just have to try... :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

oh, why can´t i be at home right now... wasted weekend, no time to play because of a travel... now little time to catch up... 👎

Time submitted...good luck all, I'm gonna go for all Gold...bring on the Model-T :)

Hi guys... will submit my time now. Did one last shot yesterday, and that was no good 👎 . I cannot catch up with my ghost no more. :nervous: I did so many laps behind him yesterday that I even saw the ghost today on my way to work.... guess I did a better time last week!

ps: Did anybody use SM at the rear this week?

TeamLosiRacer
Hey small any way you can sneak me in there again?

T1: 0'16.985
T2: 0'47.096
T3: 1'09.776

man, you are really not letting me get my third unofficial win...

very fast times, i´ll try to match them later tonight, but i think you got it...

at least i think we´re both Titans fans, that´s cool 👍
