Getting anything sub 49.000 at T2 is what you should be aiming for. Here I was at a T2 48.812.

I'm normally in the 50's and if I'm lucky 49.9 at that point!?

Could you post your split times as they appear in game as the splits individually aren't much use! Thanks!

Wow thats good, I think my best through sector 2 is 50.3 and through sector 3 is about 1:16.1, 49.9 is very quick, think I need to start cornering at more speed through the 2nd sector to find more time.

Going for 1 last try, had a drink of 105 octane tea and I'm gonna make the monkey of Trial Mountain fall out his tree from the draft cos I'm going so fast....well that or the shock from a Jag hitting his tree at 100mph!

T2 is: 48.988

So I'm not too bad up to there and have done a 19.152 in the first sector before (Still not perfect so a sub 19 first sector is certainly doable) and know for sector 2 I could definately improve tunnel entry and exit a bit better from past red lap experience. I'm surprised by sector 3 and how close I am there as after sector 2 I don't have much experience due to not getting there that often. Sector 4 I probably cost myself some time by not going all out but doing a banker ending to the lap. I think if we both pushed ourselves we probably would improve by 7 tenths or more each from experience of official time trials.

no problem, wanted to help, wasn't too hard, bit of copying and pasting here and there and job done! I think i updated all the recent ones but i just came back to check. I don't mind laguna seca, not as long as the last two weeks tracks! and the car should be easier to drive with RH tyres.

Yeah i'm really beginning to get the hang of the wheel, haven't spun the jag in ages with it whereas before i was spinning every other corner i'm glad i'm better with wheel now than ds3 and that i got under 1:39 ! anyway i'll create the week 3 thread around 9am GMT, so put your finals laps in now everyone before it's too late

I dont know really, my times seem better with that brake balance I don't know if that's because I'm getting better at the track or if I'm smoother under braking, anyway thanks you have got a good time too! You had a chance to improve it anymore today?

I´trying right now. So far I have 1:39.114, witch is 3/1000 off my best time My times right now are at mid 1.39´s.
There is still time to improve

Ouch thats tight, you will put all you're good sectors together at one point and nail a lap, what your sector time after 2 sectors? Mine was 50.4 on my quickest. Good luck on improving 👍

Because you need to sacrifice the corner before the T1 line for the next corner sector times can be deceiving.

My point being: I'm not sure its possible to string the best sector times together in one lap.

True, I just listed up the sector times I noticed that I´had during playing this week. When I look at my replay of my best time: 1:39.111 the sector times is not as good. So they are a bit decieving

Yeah but you're never gonna match your personal best sector times on your quickest lap, your best sector times are slightly quicker than mine, I try to hit the last chicane at 100mph and go across the line at 125mph, thats my target each lap. Anyway keep trying youll get there soon 👍
