Nice one, Kent. 👍
This is going to be great fun. I'll sure get my rally dose this week. :D

I had a broken in Citreon in my Sim Garage, tuned for Deep Forest....sorta the same but not really..haha

I ran three laps, best sectors below;

T1 8.575
T2 27.018
T3 47.765

Chop about 5 seconds off that and you'll get near the Div 1 winning time I think

did a few laps this morning, but my Xsara is set-up for tarmac,

can anyone tell me what the standard spring rate and ride height are for this car?:)

best time this morning T1 8.192 T2 26.363 T3 46.870

should be able to run much better with softer suspension settings

and i may try a bit of T/C as i seem to get alot of wheelspin (FF and near 400bhp):D

It is not a good idea to use ANY TCS or ASM on rally cars. This is a sure fire way to slow you down, guaranteed. Just ask anyone running in the ARC races in the Short race series forum.;)

I was just playing around with the Xsara on Smokey Mtn. last night so I'll probably run this if I have time:D

thanx for the tip:) just tried it and i think youre right.

maybe i'll play with the LSD and see if it helps:D

think ive found a decent set-up 2 use, but not sure how im doing till i see some more times posted:)

best so far T1 7.7 T2 25.6 T3 45.8

Just in case you guys didn't know, GT3 automatically TURNS OFF asm and tcs for rally racing, since they would ruin rally racing as it is meant to utilize sliding and wheelspin. I challenge you to put them to full (ASM = 20, TCS = 10) and see that in your speedomoter (or tachometer, I forget which one) the ASM and TCS lights aren't on. :)

That Track would be a piece of cake if it were not for:

.....the jump in Turn 1 where you go airbourne!

.....the final turn coming off the dirt onto the tarmac!

These two spots make it a frustrating track....at least for me.:(

So, I'll be running behind Division III this race probably.....I'll need some of that 'Moose Kak' Max E. is always gnawing on.:yuck: :yuck: :yuck:

Even a Rally Rookie like me learned pretty quickly that ASM & TCS ain't going to do you any good....cause they ain't available.:odd: :P

Your times are in the ball park HighonPSI.....now you need to hit one out! ;)

Best clean save on stock settings except gears and downforce:

8.031 25.992 45.978

Best sectors are 7.743 25.857 and 45.978.

As GT3Emporer already mentioned, it looks like a lot of this race is in the first and last turns (not counting the bends in the tarmac).

So you back huh? :D

Figured that if last week didn't lure you in, this week would.

btw, for me, nothing on this course so far, might not get around to it for a while either...

I'll still be around though.

I have my hands full with ARC2 and Admining a 5 section/6 race series at my home board but I can't resist a Weekly race in the Dirt:D I have already lowered my personal best today.

Oh no!....more fire power....more big guns! Run for your lives!:D

The ARC guys just ran this track.... so some may be up for an easy kill here.

Hmm... you guys are all nuts for this rally stuff...

LDM is in and I posted/edited his name in the registered drivers thread.

Enjoy the drive fellas.

Holy Crap! I saw the race and was immediately interested since we just ran it not too recently in ARC2 ( except different car ), but now I see GT3Mich is in, and probaly LDM and Eggmann, and maybe Ron will make an appearance, and this is gonna turn out to be a crazy weekly race!!

Ahh fudge.

I should read more carefully.

22.6
36.5
57.5

on Smokey Mountain (i.e. not Reverse). I knew the splits didn't sound right

GT3Emperor's...S.O.D 'Killa' Rally Team & Side Show (snake oil sales & monkey tricks)

The big blue and white rig emblazoned with the bold lettering announces the audacious arrival of the S.O.D 'Killa' Rally team.....fresh off their resounding victory over the poor guy who finished last in the A.R.C II race last week!

We really felt bad about relegating that poor individual to last place, but in a field of 22.....somebody has to step up, 'be da' man'....and take control of position 21. And that's exactly what we did....Thank You.

Now, we're here......enough said, you all get the picture.:odd:

______________________________________________

First three laps here netted: 7.610......25.581....45.576
..........and some more laps...7.584......25.747....45.268
....and still some more laps...7.581......25.631....45.083

And there's plenty more 'Sod' to kill around here.....:mischievous:
