I don't think anyone should be giving out final lap times to anyone but Kent.

Why would you need someone to PM you a final lap time in order to compare T times of a lap you do not even have saved?

If you don't have the T times you can not submit a lap at the end of the week, from what I understand.

Correct me if I'm wrong people...
 
well finally back, done wit school work.. getting back to racing... hopefully by the end of this weekend ill have better times, couldn't do much races for the past few days, my best so far has been
T1 5.943
T2 45.396
T3 1:06.305
 
Hey guys, big important notice...

I'm going camping.

Leaving sunday night.
I am trying to set it up so that I can leave early and be back for monday night since I have school tuesday, and it would also be nice to not leave you all hanging waiting for results.

However, I did want to leave this sort of notice just incase something happens and I am not able to post results until sometime tuesday, rather than my usual monday night right after the deadline.

I appreciate your understand and patience related to this matter.

hey sorry bout that, i didnt realise you werent allowed to share times with each other. Wont happen again!
damn me for being a noob! lol
ill just have to wait till my other half stops watching dvd's so i can get some time on the ps2. then ill get my sector times and put them up here
 
Alright racers

I havent posted since 10th of March !!

Been busy buying a house - and yes it is proving to be the most stressful time of my life so far !!

We should be in soon, then I can get the PC up and running again and better still take part in some more weeklys.

Glad to see everyone is still here !!

 
Been closer to daan on some ineligible runs. I Don't care for the power curve of this car. The usual way I can get my T1s is if I hit it right so that I'm taking the turn before it at 76, though the above lap was at 74. Car isn't very good in the turn before the final tunnel.

Has anyone tried taking the second tunnel in 5th at 92/3 then going to 4th?
 
I've run about all I can with this car, and I'm outta time. As it looks, I left nearly 1/4 second in the first quadrant. As it stands, I'm at 16.080, 45.332, and 1'06.289

Figure'd I'd give this a try...

T1: 15.874

T3: 1'05.545

The lap time sucks however as I completely screwed up after the last tunnel due to overexcitement. Ironically I hadn't gotten below a 1'06.2 T3 before the lap when I managed to just pull it all together. I don't really feel comfortable with the car. It has superb initial turn-in ability but seems to have trouble maintaining its line through the turn. This characteristic seems to be most evident at the sweeper before the long straightaway and at the uphill right between the first two tunnels. I recall one lap when I was going through this area where the car gripped the track great once it hit the little dip but afterwards it just barreled straight towards the wall as I tried to maintain my speed. Its not as free as I would prefer. I dunno, maybe I'm just trying to go too fast. I think where I am losing most of my time is at the chicane at the start of the lap and the first left after T1. I dipped down to 126 at the chicane and couldn't get through the lefty after T1 comfortably without downshifting to 3rd.
 
Been busy Rallying but managed to get back on this for another session tonight. No way I can catch Holland or Link 👍

Heh! Me too, but I hope to blame that on my career. ;)

Haven't touched this race since Mon. night/Tue. morning, but hope to improve a bit on Monday night. :D Some insane times posted so far. 👍

My hands have been killing me for a few weeks and I relized a few days ago it os from the wheel! The paddle shifts, especially my right hand (upshift) and the fact I grab the wheel so hard at times...uggh.
 
Right. It's time for me to call it quits for the week on this one. Looking at the times, I could make the top five for division 2 if there are no dark horses around.

Ahhh, I'll have my GT force wheel in just over a week. Then there'll be trouble!!

I haven´t done anything with this race in couple days. Still with the 1´05.8.
Hopefully more to come, I´ll have at least 40 laps more with this combo.

how are you guys getting these t times all my car dose is slide around the corners and off the track even if i break early
 
sorry for a double post. If i use a manual i can get my times close but still over a sec off and that first hard right i dont see how anyone is going around it in 4th gear third shifting into fourth maybe but not fourth all the way
 
well guys i am out for this week i cant get any clean runs and the ones i do get are very slow around the 134 time and slower i need more learning yet

25 laps tonight and didn't beat my final time (or any sectors other than T1), I guess that final sector didn't suck as much as I thought, though I KNOW there is at least .2 (maybe more) in it for me, I'll run a few more laps tomorrow night.....
 
Time sent. I don't know where I'll finish. I'm hoping my T3-finish time is pretty good.
 
Well I give up for this week...after a 30 lap session I got nuttin'

Final splits:
15.770 / 44.404 / 1:05.067

I just can't get my T1's below the 15.680 level so I know where I'm losing that chunk I need to get in the 1:04's.:banghead: Good luck everyone, looks like a big battle between Link and MIH for low time this week, it's gonna be a nail-biter for sure:eek:
