I tried this and have a save with 47.7 T2, and I have seen 47.3's on dirty laps. I am having alot of trouble getting the Miata dialed in. Most tracks I don't have a problem but this one is baffling me, I can't get the car to settle down, too twitchy:irked: If I could get it dialed in a bit better I might approach the 46's.

I've tried soft springs, hard springs, toe in, toe out, ride hieght high + low, LSD hard and soft. I'm out of ideas. Anyone got a setup I can try perhaps:confused: If not, I'll just turn this one in and go for a drive in the lil' red machine out in my garage:P

just got a t1 of 26.407 and t2 of 49.307 my best yet and still working on better

Just wish i was as good as all the div 1 racers but i will settle for div3

Update t1 26.098 t2 48.880

Hi!

After 5 laps 49.1. Didn´t set the car up exept the tranny and asm & tcs.

I´ll try to set that beast up later/ in the evening. The car feels good and balanced, but I feel that it can do better. So tips for setupping are welcome :D

later

25.7/48.0

Nice car. Mazdas are great... :D

I set a goal at the begining of the week.

I've run a total of... 500 miles in the car, and 300 on Rt5 (I already told the story of the endurance break in race in this thread). This means I have run a lot of laps in the car now.

So all week I've been playing like every other session. Sit down, load settings, run a few, load a ghost (if you have one to use... can't go and use a bad ghost, just screws you up), then maybe get a good lap.

Well tonight was different.
Didn't run till 10:30pm, then ran a single lap, and on the first lap, I put in my best all week.

Very close on 2 different spots, but fluid and following close to the right line.

I actually spent more time with my vcr playing back a slow-motion replay from the thrid person in reverse. ;)
👍

I may be done for the week.
However, I know that there is still another .5 for someone. With the best racers committed, I can't figure out the best theoretical lap time would be.

Keep at it everyone, I hope you all enjoyed this week like I did.

CarbonFiber Man made an excellent suggestion for a fully modified miata when he submitted his time monday night.

Very cool. 👍

Catch you guys throughout the weekend, I will probably be around tomorrow and monday, so until later. :D
bye.

Little tweaking with the setup and couple laps, 48.6 for me now. I´m not done yet..

Formula 1 time for me now! Hope Räikkönen can finish the race! :D

Laters all

Schumie won!!!!! woooohooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D I'm prolly gonna finish last this week, not my fave car and I despise the track, but at least I was able to run a few laps, only had one legit out of seven, so I'm no good in the car.

Thanks for the "support" guys!!

Seems I ended up with a similar set-up to the one above. The car handles fine but I realy can't find anymore time from it.

Ready to submit now.

You may need to scroll down a long way on the results screen to find me! :)

here's to 65.

Hi!

I´m not sure I can do more driving this week. I drove 18 laps in total. Maybe I can put some more laps up in the evening, but there is´that fact that I need to study to my test on history i have in school tomorrow..

I think I can race a full week on the weeks 65 race. Hopefully.. I have an english test on wednesday and german test later so I need to study.. The school is killing me.. :irked: But yah, nice race, just hadn´t much time with it..

I hope we´ll race with an Italian car soon..;)
So good luck for y´all and if you need me, I´m at the rock bottom tomorrow in the results of this race :D

So, see you later

Well you have to submit before you can be rock bottom in the results. ;)

About 12 hours till the deadline.
12 hours and 45 minutes to be closer.

As for an itialian ride. :indiff:
Maybe, maybe not... just gotta make the suggestions, and that you did do, so it will be on my mind. ;)

(give or take a half hour.)

Later. :D

Time submitted, yay! First time in couple weeks :D

I shaved a tenth of my t2, and it´s 48.5 now.

My setup was very similar to rickstar´s, worked fine to me.

So, I need to get back to study some history, wish me luck for tomorrows test!! :D

see ya!

Well, keep it up guys.

If the rickstar setup works for you, good, stick to it.

If it doesn't try something like mine. ;)

As for me, I have been done since the other day when I mentioned my first lap/ record for the week. (personal record atleast. ;) )

I was suprised this week... got a fast, fast time from a newbie with no record.

Anyway, I will see you guys at results time. (11 hours from now)

Make sure you guys get those times in fellas. ;)

Time submitted.

26.013
48.578

Fantastic combo. I've been working hard on the track this week, and I've been loving every moment of it. :D

sup fellas, i didn't know where else to post this so here it goes. my GT3 file got corrupted a few months ago and now i got back into OLR and wanted to download the garage that is posted on this board. Here is where the problem comes in, My PS2 will not read any of the PS2 discs with the blue backside, DVDs and DVD format games work fine though. Any of you have any suggestions as to what i can do? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Indeed, I know this problem.

Guess that means your xport supported. 👍

Too bad you ran into this problem.

My suggestion is to try over and over again with the reset button.

Eject, then run the reset session if that doesn't work.

At this point some people will start talking about taking the system apart and working with it, which you can find guys to at the xplay website on tech tv.

However, before anything like that I would try to blow through the vents once or twice.
Never know that might work.

But good luck, let us know how things turn out. ;)

btw, it's 4:45 right now my time.
That means there is only 7 hours and 15 minutes left before the deadline is up.

Good luck racers. 👍

angelx, you'll probably need to clean the lens...you'll need to take the cover off and then use a very tiny straight-blade screwdriver to take the inner cover off the disc drive inside to get at the lens, and just use a cotton swab with a touch of rubbing alcohol to GENTLY clean the lens. there are also some other things you can try if you feel like taking the PS2 apart, just use the search button and look up disc read error or repair or something. Good luck with that:)

thanks guys, i have cleaned the lens already and it still doesn't work, i'll search for some tips and see what i can come up with, thanks again.

Ah your having the good ole DRE, search Tech TV's Xplay on the fix for PS2 DRE's. They have an article on how to fix it. Basically you take your ps2 apart, and get the Lens back into focus by turning a white gear that moves the lens unit up and down. Over time and usage that gear will skip teeth and get out of its tolerable range to adjust itself.

Mine did that a few months ago and I fixed it in no time flat. Now I dont have any dre's at all and I didnt have to ship my ps2 to sony for a refurb.

25.980 / 48.423

Left at least .3 on the circuit, I saw a few 25.6xxs and a few 48.1xxs and one 47.9xx but couldn't hold it together on any of those laps....blah!

Nice car, great car infact....SS5 is a nice circuit too, especially in reverse....nice race GoKents/CFM!

Race time submitted, best T2 all week a 48.3, just couldnt get "that" lap in
See yas at the finish line

2 hours and 15 and counting down.

Deadline shortly, results right after. :D

Keep those times coming racers, and great job with the divisions. 👍

Later. :D

:D Sorry Guys :( Still sick as a dog & never got in another session this week. Would have liked to contribute more in my first week in the new division. GREAT Car/Venue Combo GoKents am sure I'll regret not giving it another shot! :( See Y'All next week...UB57 :D

Deadline in about an hour.
(give or take 10 minutes. ;) )

Later. :D
btw, remember that cfm suggested the car, I was set on the track all week, so...

The next race might be one that somebody suggested in their time submission. ;)

Or close, sorta like this week. :D

Busy week, so I didn't get back to this since Wednesday.

Time submitted: 48.714

Lot's of racers passing me like I was standing still. DOH!, I was standing still.

Yo scuderia... if you're trying to catch me, now is the time. ;)

Alright, now that I got that up, I am going to edit this in. :D

This week was really fun for me.
Gave me a great chance to run a suprise in the weekly and not something I had been putting together for a few days.

Boy was it fun too. Made me love the miata. 👍

I also figure that I should mention the possible times for this race...
Nothing clean, but...
47.0 on a "slow" t1.
25.1 on t1.

I saw those.
With that in mind, I can only assume that a 25.1 could lead into a 46.??? and from there on you get really, really fast.

Catch you guys in the results thread, which btw, will be going up in about 1/2 hour. (30 minutes.)
12am tuesday. (my time)
