Bloody hell Link :D i was nearly ready to submit that time after 1 session :P .... Thanks for the kick up the ass 👍

;)

I'm not going to get any more time in on this one unfortunately. I see almost another full second for myself if I had an hour or 2 to blow on it. I'm probably around 2 seconds slower than TML at this point, but even if I poured my heart into it, I'd be lucky to get half of that.

A wood and glass display case full of stuff just fell on my leg/ankle and I'm going to go take some pain killers and put my feet up.

Time submitted and good luck to all those last minute racers. 👍

Right then, I'm just starting to get into this, it's been a while I can tell you, but I've managed a 25.322 T1 & a 53.727 T2. Still got room for improvement though, just need to find the time to do it.

TML, Sorry mate I was only trying to pull your leg, no need to explain yourself to me :)

OOPS! I lost a day in there somewhere!
I thought the times were due tonight.....lol.

My bad......race on!

Kent, can we submit a better time if we run one AFTER we submit a time?

Out of town for a few days, but finally got in a good session on this tonight:

25.729 54.592

Some of the times I'm seeing here are simply amazing!

Has anyone else had trouble accessing GTDB? Earlier tonight I was getting "web site not responding". Now I'm getting "can't find web site". Maybe they're upgrading!

Thank God Ive still got time to submit. I havent got any of the race details with me at work today and I thought the time was due today PHEW !!

Its not impressive at all as Ive not had too much time to race this week, and next week I havent got a day off during the week at all BOO !

My times going in, I know when to quit and I'm positive another lap in this ........... "thing" will mean I need a new copy of GT3, an new DS2, or a new PS2, possibly all three.

I was there during yesterday and it looked like all the forums were locked down. I don't speak a word (clean ones anyway) of German so I dunno what's going on.

Why did you post this in the Weekly Race series thread? T2 53.9xx

Yyyyyeah.

New lap; 25.283; 54.078 (I pussied out in the last right-hander before the back straight). 0.6s up overall. Hurrah!

Oh - time submitted, by the way.

I'm done -
T1: 0:25.608 (post edit - forgot my T1 :dopey: )
T2: 0:54.999

Not startling compared to some but that represents a great deal of thumb pain :ill:

"Nurse!... I think I'd like my injection now please."

well... here is what i managed:
t1: 25.2xx
t2: 53.4xx
but i totally screwed up the second to last corner. on a side note, my ps2's laser blew out so am trying to reach my friend so i can use his ps2 to get this replay up.

That just sucks. I hate it when technology lets you down like that. Oh well at least your friend will help to get your replay on-line, so all is not lost, hope you get it fixed ok. Great times, really smashing.

Goodnight All, and best of luck to podium chasers!

Time submitted:

25.576
54.585

Lousy finish, but I got my ½second. :D

See you next week. :)

Uhm... Which "Indy?" Molson, in Toronto? The 500?

Time submitted 👍

25.245 / 53.513

Congrats to Link who has in my reckoning a nice .3 lead

I suck worse than Max :yuck: .... is that possible ? :dopey:

Laters and Good Luck :)

NO!!! Unless it's "Moose Kak" you're Suckin'!!!:lol::lol:

:D Second & final 20 Lap session put in this PM. "Found" .250 @ T-1, still had .090 lead @ T-2 but only .050 was left at the finish. :grumpy: As long as I'm only back 1.3 seconds from the Winner I'll consider it a success.
Think I've spent too much time researching the 5-Lapper found here: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=44448
& not enough time w/"Big Blue" this week! Got 15 Racers lined up & there's room for more if any of you are interested. Good Luck & see Y'All next round...UB57 :D

Well, that means he has me by .305. :embarrassed:

25.335....seen low 2 but no 1
53.518....seen mid 4 but meh.... submitting soon.

I figure it's .4 short of a smoker. Those final 2 turns are a bugger.

Spent the last 5hrs. on this. But, there come a point where it's a waste of time.
Once I have the spots figured, multiple sessions of an hour or so are more productive. Sometimes, the longer I run, the slower I go.

Good luck with your grudge match. 👍

A big thread this one is. :)

Time submitted

I improved on yesterdays time but not anywhere as good as I was expecting. I have 4 clean replays with .030 between them lol

T1 25.231
T2 53.696

time submitted

T1: 25.222
T2: 53.609

i had a better run with T2 of 53.486 but i tapped the wall on a corner.

Great times guys! 👍

Mine will be embarassingly far back for a Div 1 guy I'm afraid. 👎

Oh well, maybe I'll do better next week. :)

i totally agree, the longer i run the slower i get. I think i just start getting impatient. i have also noticed that when i put up a fast first sector time i tend to drive with more caution therefore slower times.

Haven't done it yet, but I've often considered putting a bit of masking tape over that spot on the screen where the sector times show up.

Anyway, a few too many brewskis after softball this evening results in no improvement on my previous lap (54.592, with a mediocre finish).
